As soon as Nancy opened the door her eyes opened wide in surprise. Lucian was standing in front of her with a serious expression. " Where is Angela?" he asked looking at her. " Why do you need her?" asked Nancy in a nervous tone, she thought Aella was found out.
" Just to confirm something. Call her out" ordered Lucian to Nancy. Suddenly they both heard a girl's scream filled with excitement.
" Yes, brother it is awesome in here. I don't want to come back" came Aella's voice loud enough for Lucian and Tyler to hear. Suddenly Aella caught the smell of a werewolf which is very near. Aella noticed someone is at the door so she moved towards the door to check who it is. She saw a tall man and she moved forward to see his face. She saw Lucian standing at the door and Tyler behind him. She didn't understood why they appeared here suddenly. Cold sweat formed on her back at the thought of her being found out. Aella looked up to Lucian's face to study his expressions. His golden eyes staring at her intently. But his face is as calm as ever not a single hint reflected on his face as to what he is thinking about.
" Excuse me. Move aside, I have something to talk with your dear friend Angela" he said with an ice cold voice. " Uhm.. Yes" saying this Nancy moved aside giving way for Lucian. She was scared at the thought that Lucian might know who Aella is. Aella gulped slowly watching him step inside their room. " Hey talk something? Who is it? And why am I hearing a male's voice in your room? You there?" Ares asked on phone in concern. " I will talk to you later" saying this Aella hanged up his call.
" Brother? " he asked them shifting his eyes from Angela to Nancy. Nancy's soul flew away as soon as his gaze fell on her. Why in the world did he come here? Clearing her throat Nancy said " That is my fiance. Angela is used to call him brother since she was a child".
" I see" said Lucian turning back to Angela. Lucian still couldn't smell anything except for Nancy's and Tyler's scent. Maybe he guessed wrong thought Lucian to himself. " Why are you here?" inquired Angela.
" Did you perhaps step out of the dorms in the afternoon?" asked Lucian with a doubtful look. " No" answered Angela immediately with confidence as if she really didn't went outside. Lucian turned his face around his eyes to meet Tyler. Nancy let out a sigh of relief as she was worried that Aella couldn't lie.
" Sorry for the disturbance" said Tyler in a apologetic tone. Lucian and Tyler turned around to leave the place. Aella didn't like their behavior, they came on their own accord disturbing the peace in their room. She was talking to Ares after many days and now because of them she didn't have the time to share her experiences with her dear brother and Ares is continuously asking Aella questions through telepathy as to what was happening.
" What are you trying to find out?" asked Aella with an irritated expression. " It doesn't concern you" answered Lucian with his back facing towards Aella as he is leaving the room. "How can it not? You came by your own and suddenly barged inside. Asked a stupid question and that guy said sorry leaving us like we were some fools" said Aella to them and rolled her eyes at Lucian. He noticed and turned to her " What do you want then?" he asked looking at Aella's irritated face.
" I want you to apologize to me and Nancy" she said with a tone as though as it is the obvious thing Lucian should do. Lucian's eyes widened, his eyebrows raised in shock as she is asking him to apologize for a silly mistake, him the alpha king. " I am sorry" said Lucian annoyed at her with no slightest sincerity and left the room immediately stomping in his feet.
Tyler saw Lucian's darkened face and thought to himself that if the vampire which attacked in the forest gets caught then this day might be it's last day. No one has ever defied or even tried to argue with their king. Even though the throne would obviously gets passed to Lucian he rejected it because if he ascends the throne just because he is the heir some people might mock him in the future. So he won the throne fair and square. Seeing his strength no one would dare to defy him. Yet this girl asked him to apologize. Lucian was utterly humiliated by this girl. Angela better not be the vampire or else she will be tortured to death by Lucian as a return gift for this humiliation, thought Tyler to himself.
Nancy collapsed in the room as soon as Lucian and Tyler left. She didn't understood why they would come to their room. While at the same time Ares started bugging Aella through her mind. " It's nothing for you to worry brother, it's about tomorrows swimming competition" answered Aella.
" Okay, take care Aella" Said Ares and left. " Nana are you okay?" asked Aella rushing towards Nancy. " Aella what happened? Why did they come here? Have you done something without me knowing it?" asked Nancy in a frightened tone.
" I attacked one female werewolf. She tried to follow my scent. So I have no choice but to attack" .
" Did she see your face? " asked Nancy. " No" she answered, Aella didn't give the werewolf much time. She attacked before the wolf before she could see her face. Must be the smell lingering around that place where the attack took place thought Aella to herself. But why would Lucian concern himself with it? Is he a werewolf too? Does he have the capability like us twins to hide his scent? Asked Aella to herself. And there is a reason why they would suspect Angela because after she arrived the attack took place. She dispersed all her thoughts and made herself comfortable with her bed.
" Tyler check if any of the boys left the dorms this afternoon" ordered Lucian trying to figure out who the vampire might be. " Yes" he replied and left for the boys dorms. Tyler inquired some members and found out who went outside. He started asking the boys who went outside to where they had gone. Finally there is only one left. It's Alex. Tyler went near Alex's room and knocked on his door. Alex opened the door on the second knock and was surprised to see Tyler standing there.
"Is there anything I can do for you senior?" asked Alex. " Yes. I heard you went outside this afternoon. May I ask where you went?" inquired Tyler in a polite tone. " Uhm.. I went out with my girlfriend" said Alex having no idea what else to say. He feared what happens if Angela listens to this thought Alex to himself. But now that isn't important, there must be something that happened in the forest after he left. It is too much of a coincidence for his senior to ask the time where he and Angela went into the forest. " I see. Who is it?" asked Tyler. " My girlfriend doesn't like to make our relationship public, so I am sorry for not telling you this" answered Alex with nervousness. " Then where did you two go?". " She stood in front of our dorms for me and we just roamed here and there. We didn't go out" he said with confidence. " Okay. That's it. Rest well". Saying this Tyler left.
" Yeah. You saw her too. She is really my goddess. Too bad she came here to meet Alex" they said with admiration and at the same time with slight disappointment. Hearing this Tyler stopped and started heading towards them. " Who are you talking about?" he inquired with a serious face.
" It's Angela. The new girl on our department. She was waiting outside this afternoon for Alex" one of them answered. Hearing this Tyler left the dorms and went to Lucian.
" My king. No one went towards the forest" he said to Lucian." What is it Tyler? I think you have something else to say" asked Lucian. " This isn't much important. Angela left the dorms this afternoon" answered Tyler thinking to tell this matter to Lucian or not. " What!?" then why are you telling me this now?" he shouted. " She left with Alex and roamed in our university. They seem to be in a relationship" said Tyler and looked at Lucian's suddenly turned anger face. Boyfriend? I will see how many days they can maintain this relationship. Thought Lucian to himself and gave out an evil smile. "Who is this Alex? Do they know each other before she joined our university?" asked Lucian with curiosity.
" I don't know the answer for your second question. But you might be able to see him in tomorrow's swimming competition" answered Tyler with sincerity.
" I will see how great this Alex is" murmured Lucian to himself.
