"Donna, I am very nervous. I have been in corporate meetings and I have known success and worked with depressed inner city communities through my foundation, but never before had I felt this level of unease. Out of the blue a major project lands in our lap, then a strange black car lay waits me in the garage," Karma said softly
"What! No Karma, it may be just pure coincidence and the two things may have no relation whatsoever. We have been doing great consistent work at KBA and finally the universe has chosen to reward you," Donna replied.
"Donna, where do you live? Nothing happens in this country without a link to something else. After being married to Nickolas, random never happens," Karma replied with a frown on her face.
"Something else happened, didn't it Karma? You are never this paranoid and thinking of conspiracies. Your mantra has always been hard work and honesty brings rewards."
