One month later
Senior Superintendent of Police Stephanie Hellbent stood in her official uniform and looked at her watch.
"How do these people run such a successful business if at 10:30am the CEO is still not in office? This is a very nice lobby. Karma Brown and Associates must be doing quite well for themselves," Stephanie said.
"Could I please speak to her personal assistant Ms Donna Munroe please since Ms Brown cannot be located?" Stephanie hissed her teeth in frustration. "This is the third time that I have made an appointment to see Ms Brown and she has blown me off."
Karma, peeped at the policewoman and could hear every word.
"Donna, I don't know why, but something about that woman tells me she means business."
"Why is she here again Karma?" Donna asked.
"Well, I got a call from her out of a clear blue sky that she wanted to ask me a few questions in regards to the death of my husband."
"What the hell!" Donna replied.
