"What the hell happened to you last night? You vanished into thin air. Everybody was looking for you. Did you have another part-time job?"
"Zai!"
A bewildered expression is on his face. "What were you saying?"
"Zai! I've been talking here for nobody-knows how long and you weren't even listening?"
He sensed the annoyance in Tee's tone. Well, of course he wasn't. He was daydreaming about last night.
"You seemed to be spacing out since morning. Hey! Don't tell me you had a girl last night?"
Zai looked at his friend. He is loud and annoying and most of all – he is the most loquacious person he knows.
And in a split second he heard the armalite-like mouth of his talking non-stop and asking questions like:
'Is she pretty?'
'What was she like?'
'How tall is she?'
"Mysterious," Zai blurted.
"Huh? Mysterious, you say?"
Zai looked at him. If he only knew that the person I'm thinking of is a guy he would be astonished.
"How did you two meet?"
He smiled and looked at him as he sips his drink. "It was a chance encounter."
