A whole day had passed without Izzy hearing from Jeremy. It was a Monday morning, life felt like it had gone back to normal, boring but normal. Izzy had woken up pretty early to get ready for her part time job at eagle's square, a supermarket.
She was ready to leave for work when she heard a knock on her door. She wasnt expecting anyone. She peeked through the eye hole of the door. A delivery man stood holding a parcel in his hand.
"Are you Miss Isabella Montes?" The man inquired, reading the name of the paper in his hand.
"Yes I am" Izzy confirmed
"This is for you, from Mr. Jeremy Gonzalez, here just sign here" he pointed to where she should sign. She signed it
"And here" she also signed it.
"Thank you" she said as she collected the parcel and watcged him find his way unto his bike and out of her sight.
