The dinner party was finally over. With most of the guests having work the next day they had started to leave one by one, even Jeremy's father had long left the hotel. The hall was now empty, the hotel staff scurried around the room tidying the place up. Jeremy was ready to also leave but there was one problem. The lady he had come to the place with was nowhere to be seen. His fake fiance. The lady who had stood out among the crowd. Throughout the party, Jeremy noticed so many eyes on Izzy, he regretted sending her the gown that brought out her curves but also attracted the eyes of basically all the bachelors at the party and even some married men. Staying by her side throughout the party was not a choice he had to make, it was an obligation he had to do.
Jeremy walked around the hotel in search of Izzy, he searched the ladies restroom and everywhere he could imagine she would be but to no avail.
