With the high councilor's final words two guards, one of which was Kat's Uncle, approached Kat to lead him out of the court room and back towards the elevator only to turn left just short of reaching it. Kat had studied here and had learned all of it's secrets. He knew where he was being taken, the whipping post.
Eventually they entered a circular room with a single pillar in the middle of it. There was two sets of observations rooms elevated up to grant the best view of the beatings. Kat was slowly lead to the pillar before he was instructed to remove the top half of his uniform revealing his bare torso.
"Uncle, don't blame yourself it is wrong for the council to force you to be the one to issue out my punishment and I in no way hold this against you." replied Kat as he closed his eyes and readied him self for the beating that was about to come his way.
