That evening after Kat had finished showering and getting dressed he just laid in his bed thinking as he waited for his mother to call him down for dinner. Meanwhile his aunt Jill had arrived and was now in the kitchen talking with Lilliath and James while Victoria and Katherine were up in her room talking.
"James how much farther will he go before he realizes that he's not always right?" asked Lilliath as she stared to pour drinks for her brother-in-law and sister-in-law
"He loved my brother and wanted him to take his place but after his death he can't trust anyone to take over on the council thus he remains there pushing for greatness in one of us." explained James as he took his glass, "He will always look down on me since your husband was the older of the two of us. I will always be in his shadows."
