Katherine groaned in pain as she fell hard to the ground. She gasped when she held her arm, she could almost feel a bruise begin to form.
"Again." Lucian stood shirtless above Katherine waiting for her to rise.
Ever since what happened yesterday at the festive ball, Lucian had dedicated more time to Katherine's physical training. The girl needed to be able to defend herself no matter how brutal the process may be.
Even the moments where Katherine would just watch and study his techniques were enough to drastically increase her skills in not only hand to hand combat but in sword fighting. Though she had improved compared to her first training session, it was barely noticeable compared to Lucian.
