The three of them took a seat at the table and just then Amanda walked in and directed the maids as they placed a hot meal on the table enough to feed the Lord, her mother and the human. Amanda curtsied respectfully before exiting the parlour.
Katherine slowly began to eat as Lucian continued to read over the reports Lady Allen had given him. She remembered what Rio had told about the vicus being sold on the black market and she wondered if that was what was in the report.
