"I wasn't finished talking." Joao interrupted. "I'm apologizing for not giving you the exact amount of what you owe us. I missed one important detail and that is you messed up our guys and embarrassed them in front of their families. Now the only way you can pay for that crime is through a spanking." Even with his voice being unusually soft and high pitched, Joao tried to pick up a much lower tone with Copper.
"I guess primates like you like you need a display of power so that you fall in line perfectly." Copper lowered his arms and his voice along with it. His eyebrows pulled together and folded his forehead. "And what do you mean by a spanking? Do you really think that you have even a fraction of a chance against all of us here?"
"Your arrogance far exceeds your looks," someone placed their hand on Copper's shoulder and used him to pull himself forward. He wasn't any different from the mob guys and Copper seemed disgusted of him. He noticed this and quickly removed his hand, he glared at Joao and exposed his discolored eyes. The left eye was pink and the right one was white, and he had a nose ring on the left side of his nose.
His smile was a bit unsettling to Joao it reminded him of something, something disgusting and weird. That's right, it reminded him of Po, after figuring that out Joao got a picture of Po in his mind and he expelled it by shaking his head.
"Who the hell are you? And do I need that information, because if I don't I will kill you." Joao hunched and held the iron rod in the middle.
"Well..." Before the guy could talk, Copper pushed the guy behind him before he could finish talking.
"He is not important, so? Kill him, I dare you." Copper exclaimed as he cast a claw forward.
Everyone turned their heads to look at them, including Monke. One of the guys behind Copper wanted to say something but his neighbor elbowed him. Apart from rusty throats clearing, shoes adjusted, dragged on top of the carpet, and leather gloves clenching on an iron rod. No sound was made.
Copper's eyebrows loosened and rose, his eyes grew wider and the eyeballs almost fell out. His claw retracted and morphed into a shrug, he leaned back and moved his head around eying the whole room.
"Well? We're waiting pretty boy, do something."
...
Joao returned to his original posture and let the iron rod slide down his leather gloves. He said nothing.
"I knew it, you're just another weakling posing as..." Joao took off before Copper finished his statement. He opened his legs to take a martial pose, but Joao disappeared from in front of him.
"WHERE DID HE GO?" Copper quickly got back up but stumbled forward as he screamed for Joao.
The boy with the distorted eyes grinned but quickly his face took on a surprised look as he saw an iron spear charging to his face. He was soon relieved when it missed him, but the air that blew by the side of his face left behind evidence of cowardice.
Joao lowered his face, sweat dripping from it as his breathing accelerated. "Why did you push me?" His lips trembled on every word leaving the last one uttered feeling dragged out.
"Hm, you act as if you would have definitely killed someone. Just be thankful that I saved you the trauma. You don't belong here." His breathing was also fast, but unlike Joao's, it wasn't contained at all. Every breath Copper took, Joao felt it and so did he his beating heart.
The duo colored eye boy collapsed on his knees and let out a weird screeching noise, one after the other the noises came out further apart from each other. He raised his hands to his face and the space between the noise subsidized, combined now, the noise turned into a hysterical laugher.
Excited, exhilerated, and filled with adrenaline his laugher cause the other guys in the gang to also join in on the unknown fun. Though nervous at first, as soon as they realized that they had Joao stuck in between them. Their laughter awkward howling turned into war cries.
The first one to activate beast mode sent Joao flying into Copper with a kick and silence returned. All eyes turned to him and he, now with a sweaty face walked backward. Noone stood in his way because they too wanted to hide from the beastly glow in Copper's eyes.
Like he had just been revived Joao took in a loud gulp of air and exhaled it much quieter. He coughed a bit and tried to get back up, while the lengths of his arms and legs were still embracing the ground another person intruded the near dead silence.
"Aha, I knew that you were a weakling," Copper said as he raised his head from Joao to now face the guy who kicked him. "The one who does the most damage to him is getting a raise."
Not a second thought was given to that statement before two eyes was tossed aside by another brave soul. The guy raised his shoe and brought it down to stomp. Joao tightened his grip on the iron rod and shifted out of the way.
He was still kneeling though, so all the other joined in on the assault. 'I counted six, minus 2,' Joao said to himself as the events around him slowed down for him. He put one foot on the rug and used it to launch himself onto the oncoming crowd.
All plans they had for attack were temporally halted on the sight of his leap. The person on its way braced himself for impact but it was much lighter than he thought. Joao held on to his weapon now with two hands and was able to mount both of his feet into the ground when...
"Attack him while he still isn't looking!" A courageous soul leaped out of the crowd towards Po who had his hands tucked tightly into his pockets. The punch missed, Po smiled and used his head. Even when seeing their comrade falling back with a spray of blood the other gang members didn't fall back.
Po proceeded to take them all down with ease using his legs. Whenever he got overwhelmed he would throw his body onto them. He was physically stronger and so pushing them away was never a problem for him.
Monke cared less about his fight and directed most of his attention to Joao. His fight started a beat later after Po's distracted his opponents. For the most part, he was handling himself very well, he wasn't as strong but he was faster and knew what to hit.
Copper backed up a bit to observe Joao's brawl, he smiled and cracked his fingers. Monke shook his head from behind Copper and turned away from the action to lean up against the edge and close his eyes again.
Ever since his entry here, Copper had not seen Monke or paid any attention to the fact that there might be another person. As far as he was concerned he and Tumi were only facing two enemies. That was because of Tumi who was now lying paralyzed behind him.
Copper grinned and started to close in on his weakening prey.
Tumi, on the other hand was regaining control over his body much quickly though and since he had heard everything which was going on he had a grin plastered on his face. He was furious and his only thought was was revenge.
He punched the rug a few times and boosted himself up. He saw Monke and wondered, 'what if I attacked him like this? He won't see me coming and I might rank up after bringing down King.' His grin turned into growl of frustration and finally stood up with all his might.
Left, right, or forward. Either way he had the advantage of surprise over his three enemies. But he trembled. 'Because I judged by looks I got taken out in a second, what will happen if I pick the wrong opponent?'
He folded his fists tightly and walked 'but should it matter who I pick? I want power, taking down King, and securing this deal are a way to gaining that power. I am useless against him, but am I useless in a rematch?'
Tumi placed his hand on Copper's shoulder, shoved him aside. 'Suprise, surprise motherfucker.' He foamed at the mouth, veins popping up on his head, he pulled back the sleeve of his right arm and stomped on forward much faster than before.
Copper was confused and was stunned still.
Tumi screamed, "LOOK AT ME! I AM BACK AGAIN!"
Joao whoo was nearly done taking all of his opponents heard a familiar and disturbing voice rumbling quickly towards him. He pictured a horse.
But he had no time to feel anything, only attack. Joao turned to face the oncoming assault.
POW!
Joao was sent flying.
