'That annoying fellow makes my blood boil. I should teach him a lesson.' Ashmita is cursing Rishi and didn't notice the person standing in front of her.
She walked directly into Maira and both their heads touched each other.
"Aww.."
"Ouch… Hey can't you...", Ashmita stopped after seeing the person she hit.
"Ohh! Sorry sis I didn't notice you", Ashmita said while rubbing her head.
"That's fine Ash. How will you even notice us when your prince charming is all over your thoughts? I understand..", Maira said with a playful smile.
"What? My Prince?? Who? That stupid, annoying, crazy prince of Iris?" Ashmita's face turned red with anger.
"Woah.. calm down, he is our guest after all. Don't be so rude with him Ash", Maira said while patting her head.
"Okay sis. But tell me, who was that handsome guy next to you in the court?" Ashmita excitedly asked moving near to Maira.
"By the looks of you together, I should ask. Is he my brother-in-law or future brother-in-law?" Ashmita asked without giving Maira a chance to speak.
"Sis..! don't tell me you have a child with him already??" Ashmita asked by covering her wide opened mouth at once.
"My GO.." before Ashmita spoke something again, Maira covered her mouth with her hands and gestured to her to stop talking.
"I think you are talking about... Me?" Abhi said while scratching his head awkwardly.
This time, Ashmita's eyes widened with shock.
"Since when?? you're here.." Ashmita asked.
"From the beginning.." Abhi replied calmly.
"You dumbhead! You didn't even notice him and just spoke on and on like a squeaky little bird", Maira said while hitting her head gently.
"Ouch..That hurts sis!" Ashmita said with puppy eyes.
Maira nearly rolled her eyes but stopped and introduced Abhi to Ash.
"Ash.. He is my childhood friend Abhijit and 'Cough' not your brother-in-law. OK?!" Maira introduced Abhi and when she said brother-in-law, she had a light blush crept on her face.
"Abhi.. she is my twin sister, Ashmita", Maira introduced Ashmita.
"It's nice meeting you Ashmita. I heard a lot about you from your sister. In Fact she always speaks about you only" Abhi said with a smile.
"Pleasure is mine brother-in-... I mean Abhi" Ashmita corrected her sentence when Maira glared at her.
"Okay Ash. Go and take some rest", Maira suggested to Ash as she returned after a long journey.
"Okay Sis. Bye.. Bye Abhijit!", Ashmita bid goodbye and went to her room. Maira and Abhi also left the place.
The sunrays filled the room like the rays really loved bouncing off of Ashmitha's pretty and flawless skin. She peacefully woke up from her sleep stretching her hands like giving away her sunshine.
'What is this weird feeling that today is gonna be a long day again..?', Ashmita thought to herself and went to freshen up.
At breakfast, everyone gathered around the table and had their breakfast while chatting and laughing. It is very lively.
"Ashmita.. Where is Rishi? Did you invite him for breakfast?" King chanukya asked Ashmita.
"Yes Grandpa. But he is not in his room and one of his people informed me that he went outside for some exercises. So I asked the maid to send some breakfast to his room", Ashmita said.
"OK then", King said.
"Grandpa.. Today we will go and meet Oak. I think he is recovered now", Maira asked suddenly.
Everyone's expressions have changed and all believe that it is the time to face the bitter truth.
King chanukya sighed and nodded his head.
After breakfast everyone moved to Oak's room and Abhijit informed Maira that he will join later to which Maira agreed.
"How are you Oak?" Ashmita was the one who asked.
"I am fine Ashmita," Oak said with a smile.
Along with Oak, the doctor elf is also there today.
"Oak, we want to talk with you privately", Ashmita asked.
"That's fine Ashmita, he is my friend and he knows everything", Oak assured ashmita.
"Ok then. Why did he kidnap my mom?" Ashmita asked directly.
"Oh.. That. Well.. After knowing the truth I went to Surya and demanded an explanation. He just smiled and said what he did was correct. He also said he will marry her soon. He threatened me that if I informed this truth to Elsa, she will no longer live on this Earth" Oak said by clenching his fists tightly.
"Then I chose to keep my daughter in the dark because I was the one who trained him and his army and I knew how powerful they were", Oak said, "To this day I regret everything that I did for him."
"One day Elsa observed the changes in my behaviour and asked me for the reason. I didn't disclose anything to her but as a brave and sharp minded girl, she started her own investigation to find out the ways to find the truth. Surya treated my daughter very well and she didn't doubt him for once. That made the situation worse."
"And my biggest nightmare came true. Elsa got to know the truth that Surya kidnapped a woman and she was devastated. She went directly to Surya and slapped him in the court and insulted Surya. On that day, for the first time ever, I saw his pure evil side", Oak said while trembling.
"He just dragged her out of the court to his room, not at all minding that she was pregnant and when I went to her rescue, he kicked me away. His bodyguards locked us from going near him. We don't know what happened inside their room and I didn't see my daughter for a number of days. The people in the court who saw this incident didn't leave the palace alive", Oak said with terror in his eyes.
"Only this doctor was allowed to check on her with tight security and I requested him to inform me about her being, without the king's notice", Oak said while looking at the doctor elf.
"When I entered the room for the first time after that incident, I was welcomed inside by darkness and silence. I couldn't see Elsa in that condition. She was there sitting on the bed like a soulless person. All that life in her eyes was dead. I never saw our beloved Elsa like that before and I couldn't.." Doctor elf explained the incident with mixed emotions.
