After a long silence Ashmita adjusted her emotions and asked, "How do you know my mother?"
Oak smiled and said, "It's a long story. I will tell you when the time comes. But your mother is a very kind and humble person."
Ashmita felt mixed emotions inside her but she didn't show anything and calmly asked, "Ok then.. What's the thing you wanted to speak with me about?"
"That is about your pendant. Who gave you that pendant?" Oak asked.
Unknowingly she touched her pendant around her neck and asked,"My Pendant.. Why?"
"I am the one who asked you the question first.Tell me who gave you that pendant?" Oak asked again.
"My Mom.." Ashmita said hesitatingly.
Oak smiled and looked at her pendant and said, "Do you know the power of that pendant?"
Ashmita looked at the pendant and shook her head.
"Well.. that pendant.. My daughter gave it to your mom to keep her safe." Oak said. "And also it is given to you as a blessing, so it's power has increased", he added.
"Huh??? I don't understand. Why did your daughter give it to my mom? and what is the power you are talking about?" Ashmita is very confused now by Oak's words.
"Do you know the powers of an Elf?" Oak asked her.
"Uh.. Elves have some magical powers and help people using them," Ashmita said.
Oak smiled and said, "Hmm.That's correct. We have been thought of as beings with magical powers and supernatural beauty, ambivalent towards everyday people and capable of either helping or hindering them".
"The pendant you are wearing is capable of calling any elf that exists in this world. Do you know that?" Oak asked.
"What?????" Ashmita is shocked by the sudden facts.
"Yes.. It is very powerful. Do you know how many types of elves there are?" again Oak asked.
Ashmita shook her head. Then Oak smiled and said, "Don't worry about anything right now. You will get to know slowly about all these things."
Ashmita wanted to ask many questions but couldn't utter a single word. So she silently nodded her head and left the room.
Ashmitha didn't notice someone's been observing them hiding outside the window while she was in the Oak's room and she didn't sleep properly that night.
On a Full Moon Day
Oak was resting in his room and suddenly someone approached him with a sword in his hand.
Reaching the bed, he raised his sword to kill Oak but before that sword reached Oak, a knife stopped it from attacking and made a sound, "clang...." that echoed in the room.
Oak opened his eyes and before he spoke, "You betrayed our master! Oak.." the attacker said.
"I didn't. You know that very well", without moving from his bed Oak answered.
"NO!! I don't believe you. I want to kill you this instant but I don't want you to die simply without bearing any consequences for your deeds", saying that he injected a needle in Oak's heart.
"From today onwards you are going to die slowly.. regretting your decisions", he smirked and said, "and for losing your loved ones by your own hands".
"Who is that?" someone shouted from outside and suddenly the room door opened.
Ashmita wanted to talk with Oak about the information he shared with her, so she came by. But before she knocked on the door, she heard some noise. So she got alert and opened the room.
Seeing someone enter the room, the person jumped from the window and escaped into the forest.
Ashmita checked on Oak and alerted guards to search for the culprit. Within seconds Yashoda and the team members arrived at the room and checked if Oak was Ok.
Oak lost his consciousness. Then Yashoda and Veda were trying their best to help him and doctor elf was also added to them. Everyone became tensed by the sudden attack on their leader.
Ashmita folded her lips into thin lines by thinking how easily someone entered into the room and she didn't waste any time and left the room jumping out the window.
She landed on the ground safely and shouted, "KILLER!!!!!!!".
Killer is the name of Ashmita's horse. She is fond of this horse from her childhood and this horse is known for its lighting speed. She used Killer only for wars.
'Tak..Tak. Tak..Tak.' Suddenly a black horse came with a lighting speed and Ashmita hovered on the horse's back with ease and they both sped into the forest.
All the team members except Veda, went into the forest in search of the culprit. Long shadows of the trees fell on the palace's walls as the sun started to sink afar.
