Daisy was super worried about her best friend. She was very close to giving up on their friendship after Lily ignored her last call. They say, 'Not all friendships lasts forever'. Maybe theirs was one of those. She just needed to move on and forget about Lily. It was obvious Lily needed help but she wasn't ready to confide in Daisy.
Not to mention the fact that Daisy's mother won't stop asking about Lily. Today she can be like, 'You haven't been talking to Lily on phone. I hope she's fine'. And the next thing she is talking about how she misses Lily, 'How I miss having Lily around'.
Daisy was fed up with trying to act nonchalant about her break up with Rayyan and mostly about her almost ruined friendship with Lily.
