On getting into the room, What appeared in their line of sight was a large-sized laboratory. Several mechanisms, some in human shape and some in the shape of animals could be seen moving around carrying containers.
There were several people on blue garments moving from place to place as several transparent cauldrons could be seen in specific positions.
At the front of the laboratory was a large barrier that held a tiny red looking liquid the size of a pinky. Inside the barrier, the red liquid was suspended in the air.
A beautiful looking female with her brown hair tied in a bun, wearing a tight fitted black robe with a hint of blue, stood in front of the barrier scrutinizing the red liquid inside the barrier.
Immediately Calicrum walked in with Fraulian and the celestial guards the people working in the laboratory paused and knelt with their heads slightly bent, " Greetings Lord Calicrum!" They shouted out as he passed through their midst headed towards the position of the lady and the barrier in front.
Calicrum didn't even bother to answer them as he kept walking at a leisurely pace with a look of indifference but surprisingly there was no look of dissatisfaction on their faces.
"Viloria," Calicrum called out to the lady standing opposite the barrier.
The lady who was previously lost in thoughts, was brought back to reality by Calicrum, "Hmm? Lord Calicrum, you're here," She said bowing slightly.
"Any progress?" Calicrum inquired.
"This past one month, we have been constantly trying to dilute the blood to reduce the excess energy, Lord Calicrum remember how my assistants couldn't go near the blood due to the pressuring aura it exuded?" Viloria asked to which Calicrum nodded. He heard the report of Viloria assistants exploding into blood and gore after approaching Alusec's blood due to the intense pressure it generates which was why he gave an order for the barrier to be placed there but what surprised Calicrum was the fact that these were all celestial beings, even though they were just deities, he felt Alusec's blood should only have affected the likes of mortals and planetary level beings, not celestial beings.
Viloria continued, "That pressure no longer exists,"
"Hmm? What do you mean by that?" Calicrum asked.
"The blood has lost its potency, it's useless now," Viloria revealed.
Calicrum had a look of confusion on his face but to prove her statement right, she gave a hand sign and the barrier disappeared. She was also a deity but now she was unaffected, there was no form of pressure whatsoever.
Calicrum eyes narrowed as he stared at the blood, "The blood is dead," Calicrum said after scrutinizing. What he meant was, the blood of a god would be radiating with life and vitality but now he couldn't sense anything life that from it.
"How is this possible? He's was the most powerful god-king in history and you're telling me, his blood just lost potency," Calicrum smelled that something was fishy here.
"At least were you and your team able to unlock some of the secrets that the blood holds?" Calicrum asked while staring at Viloria in a threatening tone.
"Well...." Viloria couldn't complete her statement.
"SPEAK!" Calicrum said in a loud voice.
"We weren't able to unlock the constitutions that the blood contains. There wasn't enough..." Before she could complete her statement...
Grab!
"YOU BUNCH OF USELESS FOOLS!" Calicrum said while grabbing at Viloria's fragile-looking neck, her face turned red from the grip. His voice was so loud that it was making the whole tower quake and a lot of things were sent flying in the laboratory including the assistants and guards. The only person who was able to stand firmly was Fraulian.
"My Lord please calm down, don't forget whose daughter she is," Fraulian spoke with caution.
Calicrum silently released his grip and she fell to the floor while breathing loudly trying to catch her breath. Normally Calicrum was just holding back because of her identity, if not he would have sent all of them to the afterlife without moving a finger.
"These useless scums. I need to have leverage over my teacher as soon as possible," Calicrum stated.
"But my Lord, it's going to take him a relatively long time to recover. You're still more powerful than him so he should pose no threat to you," Fraulian stated with confusion.
Calicrum stared at Fraulian like he was an idiot but then he suddenly remembered that only him knew so he just shook his head in pity, "You all have no idea who we're dealing with, my master is unpredictable, he could be scheming something right now like the last time and I wouldn't know until the last minute. Another thing...."
Calicrum paused for a while as his face shone dread, "The true reason why my master is called 'Godly Abomination' is not because of the different sources he can use... it's because of his original source, the one he was able to use since he was an adolescent. He promised his master never to use it again that's why a lot of celestial beings don't know about it, but if he decides to use it once again then all the battle will be lost, even the celestial realm might no longer be in existence," Calicrum revelation made Fraulian tremble from the depths of his soul, 'What could this source be that it scares even the god-king?' Fraulian wondered.
At this moment the metallic walls at the entrance were opened and a man with long dark hair and azure-colored robes walked in with urgency. He noticed the look of disarray in the lab but he was here for a more pressing issue so he ignored it.
The assistants who were still recovering from being sent flying earlier noticed the man and silent whispers could be heard, "Is who I think it is?.."
In a few seconds, he arrived before Calicrum, "God Lord Abilech what brings you here?" Calicrum asked noticing the look of urgency on his face.
"God-King Calicrum... The diminishing void is collapsing!" Abilech said making Calicrum have a look of confusion.
"Collapsing? Why would it collapse?" Calicrum asked with worry.
"For reasons unknown, the space around the void started to distort some days ago and now it's collapsing bringing a wave of chaotic energy with it... If we don't stop this, several planets in that part of the universe are going to be wiped out!" Abilech explained with a grave expression.
