The eyes of everyone widened at the revelation of the news. 'The diminishing void? The official place for imprisoning rogue celestials in the age of the old gods?'
All the celestials have heard stories about the diminishing void and they all dreaded the place. It was well known that on becoming a celestial, immortality would be achieved but the diminishing void true to its name causes everything to diminish until there's nothing left.
According to rumors, there was a law that operated in the void. This law makes it so that every passing second, you lose something; memories, strength, senses, power, body parts, e.t.c. Escaping is impossible because the law also gets rid of the energy that stems from your source. Being imprisoned there means becoming ordinary. Deities would not last being in there for more than an hour while a god lord would still manage to survive for about a decade or two before completely dispersing into nothingness. Gods were able to reincarnate after dying but this law also stopped the process of reincarnation.
The celestials dreaded this place so much because a lot of them had lived for a long period that they now dreaded death. A lot of them enjoyed being at the top of the food chain so they were scared of anything that threatened to take that away.
"Dimensional pillar!" Calicrum wasted no time in summoning the four-dimensional pillars that were previously a part of the celestial throne room.
Trrrriiiiinnnnn!
The pillars appeared surrounding Calicrum, Abilech, and Fraulian.
"Transport us to the diminishing void," after Calicrum said that...
Grrrrioooommnnn!
A blinding light engulfed the entire laboratory from the four pillars and then they all disappeared.
After they disappeared the tension that the lab workers were feeling calmed. These assistants were about seven and all of them were deities but their auras were nothing compared to the two gods who arrived earlier. Most of them were already sweating from their palms, wondering when last they felt this tense. The situation was a bit shocking to them when Calicrum got angry but left without slaying anyone, they started to wonder if the rumors about him being ruthless were true or not.
What no one noticed was, Viloria had a wide grin on her face after picking herself up.
"You fools haven't seen anything yet, this is the beginning of your problems," Surprisingly her voice sounded masculine when she spoke this time.

The trio arrived at another part of the galaxy where a purplish and crimson wave could be seen thousands of meters away. Floating in space beneath them was a yellowish colored spherical planet.
This part of the galaxy was billions of miles away from the celestial realm but it was still an upper-level universal realm. Which meant it was closer to the celestial realm.
The universe had always been classified into three parts - The low-level universal realm, mid-level universal realm, and upper-level universal realm. The planets that happened to be situated in the upper universal realm were closer to the celestial realm and it just so happened that the diminishing void was collapsing around this part of the galaxy.
Normally the diminishing void was always in motion appearing once every ten thousand years in different parts of the galaxy but now that it's Guardian was dead, it was stationed at this point and would not move until it became contracted to another Guardian.
Calicrum stared at the wave of chaotic energy in the distance that covered a large amount of space than the planet beneath them.
"This is not good, a wave this large would get to the celestial realm," Calicrum said while studying the energy, he could sense it's the intensity and it gave him a huge shock. Normally Calicrum wouldn't be bothered about these planets even though they always sent resources to the celestial realm as a price for protection. What Calicrum was worried about was the wave affecting the celestial realm.
Abilech and Fraulian also stared at the wave with a look of dread.
"It has gotten worse," Abilech said feeling that the pressure from the wave was now more intense than when he arrived here earlier.
Calicrum heard from Alusec a long time ago about how whoever the diminishing void was contracted to would be powerful due to how the void retained energy from diminishing celestials over the millenniums. Imagining just how many celestials must have been imprisoned after millions of years gave Calicrum a huge headache. Their energy and power had been storing up for a long time in the diminishing void, now it was going chaotic. The energy would be powerful enough to wipe out a plethora of planets.
"Fraulian send out an emergency beam to all the gods," Calicrum instructed and stretched out both his hands in the direction of the wave, "Abilech assist me," After Calicrum said that, "Time force... Infinite Recalibration!" He said with a calm voice as Abilech placed his palm behind Calicrum channeling a large amount of energy into him.
Ping! Ping! Ping! Ping! Ping!
Blue glowing runic circles started appearing in the space, very close to the waves. The blue circles were about the size of a mini planet. Uncountable numbers of them continued to appear surrounding the waves.
"Beam of reversal!"
Immediately after Calicrum said that blinding light erupted from the circles like pillars, firing at the waves.
Dhhhhoooommm!
Like magic, the waves that threatened to put the upper-level universal realm in danger started disappearing.
In a few minutes the waves that were wide enough to cover hundreds of millions of kilometers had shrunk to several thousand meters in length.
Calicrum put his arms back down along with Abilech.
"This will only buy us more time to regroup," Calicrum said after sensing that the energy he got rid of was only a tip of the iceberg.
"Lord Calicrum, can we send a Guardian to make a contract with the diminishing void? All these should end if we're able to get someone to enter the diminishing void and make a contract with the realm," Abilech proposed.
"Don't you know that the chaotic energy of the diminishing void is lethal to celestials? If we were to send a Guardian there he wouldn't survive moving through the sea of those energy waves. Even if we decided to open up a path for him, the inside of the diminishing void must be in a worst state than the outside, so there's no way anyone would be able to survive long enough to form a contract," Calicrum enlightened Abilech.
"What we need to do is send the diminishing void along with the chaotic waves far into the galaxy to another part of the universe. Where it won't be able to cause any issues in the celestial realm, maybe the low-level universal realm," Calicrum revealed with indifference while staring at the Fraulian who seemed to be communicating with the gods mentally as he closed his eyes.
'My master would have been able to do this if he wasn't weakened without the assistance of anyone.... why I'm I still so weak compared to him in his hay day,' Calicrum gritted his teeth as he thought with annoyance.
"But Lord Calicrum, this energy is enough to wipe out all the millions of planets in the low-level universal realm," Abilech reminded.
"Who gives a damn about ants! They should be glad that their destruction is the solution to our problems, if they perish then so be it!" Calicrum stated with intensity, leaving no room for further discussion.
Abilech too just shrugged his shoulders as he was only concerned about the blame Calicrum would receive from the Celestial realm.

After several minutes gods began to appear in front of the diminishing void in different colors and types of luxurious looking garments.
Their auras combined was enough to make the planet beneath them change position shifting a bit further in space.
A total of seventeen gods had appeared, six being females and eleven being males.
During the time that Calicrum and the rest had been waiting, the chaotic waves started spreading again and this time it was times two of its initial size, threatening to obliterate everything in its path.
There was already panic in the planets that were situated in the upper-level universal realm. The species that lived on these planets could see a shade of purple and crimson in the skies and some weird phenomenons began to happen. Some planets started having weird weather occurrences where lightning strikes would obliterate an entire city. So even before the waves hit, it was already causing havoc in several planets.
Calicrum didn't even need to brief the gods that arrived about the situation on ground as they could see with their eyes and feel just how chaotic the energy was.
Calicrum explained his plans to them which they all consented to. Calicrum summoned another artifact and asked the gods to channel their energy into it.
The artifact was connected to Calicrum and he was going to use the energy to complete a large teleportation spell that would cover millions of miles and send the diminishing void along with the chaotic waves of energy to another place.
Calicrum waited for the energy to keep spiking until it got to a point.
He was finally ready to unleash the spell.
Calicrum stretched out his hand feeling the intense amount of energy running through his body. He shut his eyes and was about to unleash the spell when...
Poof!
Everything disappeared.
"Huh? what happened? Why did the waves disappear?" Calicrum opened his eyes to see everything returned to tranquility.
"The diminishing void is gone, along with the chaotic waves, How? I haven't even unleashed the spell yet," Calicrum wondered out loud as he stared at the location where the waves were erupting from earlier.
Only infinite constellations, milky way, and darkness could be seen. It was as if there was no disturbance in the first place.
