Chapter 49 - Aftermath

Calicrum appeared in the sky above the order of celestials with Abilech and Fraulian. What appeared in their view was a cloud of chaotic violent and crimson waves extending for millions and millions of miles.

It kept spreading outwards.

The chaotic waves of energy were all they could see. The four-dimensional pillars surrounded the trio. The pillars formed a rectangular barrier that prevented the energy from coming into contact with them.

Calicrum had a dark look on his face. The deed had been done. The order of celestials and it's surrounding had been obliterated but he sensed that the waves were still spreading beyond the location of the order of celestials.

Calicrum stretched out both his hands, "Dimensional pillars, extension!"

After he said that, large waves of visible blue energy poured out of his arms, flowing into the dimensional pillars that were still surrounding them.

Thhhhuuummmm!

The pillars that were about twenty meters long earlier started increasing in length. The pillars separated, moving further into the distance as the room within the barrier kept enlarging.

"Dimensional transference!" Calicrum muttered and the pillars continued to increase in length and extend into the distance.

Wherever the pillars extended to the waves disappeared.

The pillars moved very fast-spreading apart and in a few minutes, it had already covered Hundreds of billions of miles within the area.

Calicrum already had a bead of sweat on his forehead as he kept pouring out energy.

Calicrum was able to make this possible due to being the god-king. Whenever he was in the celestial realm his power would be boosted.

Several minutes later the pillars finally extended to the edge of the waves and stopped there, preventing the waves from spreading further.

Sswwiiiiivvvee!

The chaotic violent and crimson-colored waves finally disappeared but there was no form of joy on any one of their faces. The only view that could be seen for miles was that of destruction. Not even the ground of the celestial realm that was tougher than the body of god lords was spared. The grounds had changed into an ash color as a large crater about billion of miles wide could be seen.

Calicrum gritted his teeth as he looked around him. He spread his senses out and couldn't find any signs of life.

"A whole layer of the celestial realm has been exterminated," Abilech said while also using his senses to scan the area. The celestial realm was divided into several layers. It wasn't shaped like the other planets, instead, it was an entity that surpassed the understanding of even celestials themselves.

There were seventeen layers in total and each layer spanned for more than hundreds of billions of miles. The topmost layer was where the god-king resided. The lower-ranked celestials like deities and true gods resided in the low to mid-layers while celestial tribes based on strength and god lords without contracted planets occupied the rest.

The higher the layer the more the increase in energy from nature making cultivation faster since celestials also had to cultivate.

The order of celestials used to occupy the third layer that floated in the clouds, the main area was the large hall that almost the size of the celestial palace. The hall was not just a court for judging criminals but also a place for assigning missions to new celestials. This was the only upper layer that every celestial had access to regardless of strength. Now it was no more.

"I SWEAR I'LL TEAR YOU TO PIECES WITH MY OWN HANDS FOR THIS HUMILIATION MASTER!" Calicrum shouted out at the top of his voice causing the skies and the ground to tremble with intensity.

-Muremeu City

At mid-afternoon, In a forest of dense tall blueish trees about twenty to forty meters in length. A particular two hundred and fifty meters tall tree stood out in the middle of the forest. Not only because of its height but because of the majestic presence it carried. It looked like it was the sovereign watching over the rest of its subjects.

At the crown of this tree which was as wide as a basketball court, a man in black flowing robes sat down with his eyes shut, his face looked solemn but handsome with a well-carved jawline and his dreadlocks that were packed in a bun, with two strands dangling on both sides of his face. Strong winds blew from time to time making his robes flap and the two strands jump around his face.

His eyebrows twitched from time to time. He was in a state of deep concentration.

All of a sudden the winds became still as the space around the crown of the tree changed becoming serene. different colors of glowing lights like stars started to appear around the man. The glowing lights continued to appear filling up the space on the crown of the tree it didn't stop there. An uncountable number of them continued appearing extending across the forest, the city, and then the whole island.

Everyone on Ritler island ranging from children to adults stared at the air from their position. They all had their mouths open as they stared at the air filled up with different colors of stars. They couldn't comprehend what was going on.

All of a sudden the stars started connecting to each other through lines.

They created different patterns in the sky after connecting completely.

Duuuummm!

A huge eye was formed above the sky from the stars and immediately it appeared everyone was frozen with reverence. To the extent that people began to drop to their knees subconsciously. Even cultivators at the planetary level couldn't resist, also dropping to their knees subconsciously. It was only a few supreme beings on the Island that were able to resist the urge a bit, they kept circulating their energy to strengthen their mental defenses. They were the only ones who understood what was happening.

"Someone is breaking through to the sacred king level? How is the person able to cause such a phenomenon?" Patriarch Hong stared at the sky in shock. He wasn't the only one who noticed this. All the top powerhouses on the Island did too.

When a cultivator was breaking through into the supreme level, they will have to align the stars in their source world. This process was the most tasking mentally and tedious. wrong alignment could cause the energy in the source world to go haywire and the person would explode. A normal cultivator aligning their stars would take weeks sometimes months but it would only cover a distance of about five hundred meters. It was unheard of when a person's source world occupied the city talk less of the entire island. Another thing that puzzled them was, normally a person would only have one color of stars due to it representing one source but they could see varieties of colors.
