During this time Ruby understood Rin's abilities properly and explained to her that if she cultivated her source well, she would be able to defeat opponents that were higher than her in terms of cultivation.
Ruby went hard on Rin training her vigorously in the forest area.
Ruby had never seen the combination of prediction and flaw before. These two sources always stayed different. This was the first time she was seeing them together as a source.
Ruby noticed that Rin was only skilled in flaw but when it came to prediction she was lacking.
If someone was to attack her she would be able to see the trajectory of the attack and the weak point, and attack the flawed area or dodge to the best of her abilities.
But if several attacks were aiming at her, her prediction would fail her and she would only see the flaw.
Ruby taught her a technique to channel her concentration so she would not lose focus in the face of several attacks.
Ruby went as far as sparing with Rin on several occasions albeit suppressing her strength to match's Rin.
Right now Rin was in a test that Ruby prepared.
Ruby transformed into her Kunpeng form, controlling a large number of waves from the ocean and dropping it on the forest area where Rin was positioned.
It was like a river dropping from the sky as torrents of water dropped from the sky turning the forest area into a sea.
Rin saw the approaching sea waves, that was so tall that it completely covered the crown of some trees.
Ruby was controlling the waves from above so they didn't move past a certain region, she didn't want other people to be disturbed.
Rin's test was to survive by creating a path for herself amidst the torrents of waves.
About an hour later Rin was lying on the ground with her butter colored garment soaked and sticking to her body like a glue. Her large chest kept heaving up and down which was proof of her heavy breathing.
The ocean water had disappeared but everywhere was muddy which was a sign of a flood.
Flap! Flap!
sounds of flapping wings could be heard approaching from the sky.
Gbam!
Ruby landed a few feet away from Rin and transformed back into her human form.
"Even though you failed you still gained something," Ruby said while walking closer to Rin, "Congratulations on your breakthrough,"
Ruby said while smiling.
When Rin heard this she had a look of shock on her face as she sat up. She probed her energy and her eyes nearly bulged out of the sockets.
"It's only been a week plus, how was I able to get to the esei level from the ehan level this fast?" She questioned in disbelief.
Ruby sat down beside her and flicked her index finger on Rin's forehead.
"Ow!" Rin exclaimed and held her forehead.
"Don't underestimate your potential," Ruby said while grinning and remembering a certain someone.
"Master used to say that to me when he trained me all those millenniums ago," Ruby said as she stared at the sky.
Rin realized who she was referring to and asked, "Sis Ruby are you saying that, mister Alusec was the one who trained you?"
"Hmm," Ruby nodded in affirmation.
Rin had a look of bewilderment as she listened to Ruby.
"All those years ago, he would smile and pat my head with joy.... He was always smiling with pride whenever he saw me and Calicrum bantering," Ruby smiled as she reminisced but all of a sudden her face changed into that of pain, "Now his face is filled with so much hate and betrayal... that charming and sincere smile has long since disappeared from his face all that is left is the will to exterminate..." Ruby's words made Rin feel confused.
"Sis Ruby, can you tell me where the both of you came from?" Rin asked as she felt that their story wasn't as simple as she initially thought.
Ruby heard the question and hesitated a bit, "How would knowing such information help you? It'll be better for you to remain oblivious unless you want to become a part of our circle which I don't want for you," Ruby said with concern.
Rin had a crestfallen look on her face as she stared at Ruby, "So you're going to leave too, hehe, I'm cursed... everyone leaves me eventually," Rin laughed in self-ridicule as a tear escaped from her eyes.
Ruby seeing this pulled her closer, into an embrace, placing Rin's head on her shoulder, "Naughty lass, who said anything about leaving?"
Ruby said while rubbing Rin's hair, it's just that knowing our story will not be of any use... it will only be a burden,"
"I want to know," Rin demanded while separating herself from Ruby's embrace.
Seeing the look on Rin's face, Ruby sighed and nodded.
"Alright, since you want to know, make sure you listen carefully,"

-Bali mountain
Alusec found himself in a hallway after entering Briella consciousness, "Rhadelia, should be somewhere over here," Alusec said as he looked at the doors that represented Ivrena's memories.
The place reminded him of Miracule Castle.
Alusec walked forward at a leisurely pace and stopped in front of a large gate. This was different from the normal doors that were of the same size.
This one was about thirty feet tall, with a moon insignia on it.
"Did he reduce in size?" Alusec wondered as he stared at the thirty feet tall gate, feeling that it was smaller than he expected.
Alusec placed his palm on the gate and...
Bam!
A strong force repelled his palm backward.
"Hmm?"
Alusec stared at the gate, "Is he asleep?"
"What is going on with Rhadelia? Why is he even here in the first place?"
Alusec wondered.
After standing in the same spot for several seconds Alusec spoke, "Let's try this,"
Alusec put his thumb in his mouth and bit hard, puncturing a hole in his finger.
Blood trickled out of his thumb and he immediately placed it on the gate drawing several circular runes in a few seconds. Surprisingly this time his hand wasn't repelled.
Suddenly a strong glow appeared on the gate encapsulating the entire hallway and absorbing the bloody runes that Alusec drew.
Click!
A clicking sound was heard as the gate opened up itself.
Alusec smirked as he walked in,
"Just as I thought, you were truly..."
