For some god damn reason the tower even has a teleportation circle to the forest itself, convenient for me but idiotic in general. It literally leads to the most dangerous place imaginable and you just leave it out there in public for people to use without any limitations whatsoever, don't they get sued when people accidentally went there and die? The forest lives up to its name alright and already i can see the multiple bodies of previous adventurers strewn across the ground. What could possibly be in here to be THAT terrifying? Greater wraiths, Ghoul lords, demonic minotaur, greater lich, all of them fucking die after 2 minutes of fighting barely even scratching me. Only the wraiths actually had me putting in effort as i can't hit them with the sword so i blasted them with some holy flames which promptly disintegrates them completely. My anger is still very much potent, barely dwindling from these boring fights. Roughly 2 hours in and now it's my turn hunting all of them to near extinction, the creepy murmuring of the wraiths are barely audible with all of them gone are too far away from me.
The prison itself was located inside a skull-shaped cave with red liquid pouring out of the 'eyes' forming two waterfalls on the side of the entrance that is the mouth. Inside were multiple battalions of skeleton paladin patrolling the place and though they die quite easily, so far only they has actually caused me pain with holy magic. Several close-calls were made to, i had to improvise using the slime essence and the remaining bone powder with scrap metals to make some smoke bombs to be able to dodge between attacks. The traps were mostly poison with the occasional pitfall or boulders trap but with a literal map of the place in my hand, i doubt i'll get caught in any of them. Though the final trap seems problematic. It is a 200 meters river of acid flowing to the heart of the dungeon where the Eye is sealed away. I would use wind magic to levitate through the thing but there seems to be a powerful anti-magic ward placed across the river preventing me from doing so. My armor definitely won't be able to withstand the acid let alone my bones. Well maybe my bones could withstand it but i don't want to know what it's like to swim in acid. So there's only one solution left, surfing... with the greatshield. Although the brigand's greatshield is extremely heavy, the acid in the river seems to have a lot of gas coming from the air pockets at the bottom making the shield float. The shield course didn't survive the process but hey at least i got through the river.
The door to the prison now lays ahead of me shining fiercely from the various runes that spread across it. From the sight of the door alone i can tell this is no walk in the park. The door itself was even bigger and sturdier than the one made for Moris and that was made of Adamantite not to mention i can see rivers of mana flowing within the runes using true sight. I asked for a challenge, no way am i going to chicken out at this point, not that i could anyway with the only way out being the river which i can no longer traverse. Unlike dark souls, there's no second chance, i have to take a lot of precautions if i want to kill this thing. Walking in from the and already i could feel a powerful presence lurking nearby. The arena is seemingly not there with inky black walls and floors barely visible with 2 corpses one being in the center and one laying next to the gate. The one in the center died standing with its arms still raised up resembling the casting motion of a powerful spell, that must have been the old emperor. The other corpse next to my feet belongs to no one else but captain Lambert himself though he's just a mass of dusty old bones and shattered armor now. Parts of him even seemed to be cut cleaned off leaving behind only ashes on the edge of the wound, the eye must have the ability to use lasers or something similar. It didn't take long for the thing to rear its ugly head from the corner of the room.
The massive abomination like its name said, is a massive eyeball that seems to be at least 3m wide in diameter. The whole eye was black save for the blood red iris and covered in blue scales like carapace. 6 tentacles whip through the air behind it, all of them covered in the same carapace only thicker with energy gathered at the tip of each one. It was all of the elements gathered there, Thunder Water Fire Earth Light and Dark. That wasn't all though, the eye splits open to reveal the terrifying sight of rows and rows of sharp fangs inside a huge maw. The beast gives a booming roar as it charges all of the tentacles with power.

Straight off the bat, a barrage of beams were shot at me being thunder and water combined into one with fire and earth combined into another. A stream of pressurized Lightning flashes at me along a stream of lava from both sides. Using my own elemental manipulation, i leap into the air by blasting my feet with an air bomb safely avoiding the attacks. The beams collided and the impact deletes the entire portion of the arena caught in it, this thing packs a serious punch! It immediately resumes its attack sending gales of fire into the air while erecting pillars of stones from the ground as well. I decide to be bold and instead of dodging the gales, i harden myself using earth magic and coat myself in water before diving straight through the attack lunging at the eye. It barely had time to respond as i draw the runic sword and drive it across the thing leaving a gash that starts leaking purple blood. Enraged by the wound inflicted, the monster jerks violently around shaking me off before slamming all of the tentacles down at once creating an earthquake that made the whole room vibrate. It then brought the light and dark tentacle next to each other channeling energy into them creating a black and white orb that multiplies until there are ten of them. The orbs then expand themselves forming humanoid shapes that wield their own weapons ranging from bows, swords to maces and hammers. Despite these minions lacking appearance and intimidation, their strength can easily cleave through a rock dragon. I can't fight it outnumbered like this so i take out the crystal of decay and make my own minions to counter them. Although the knights lack strength to even scratch the humanoid monsters, they have more than enough speed to run around and distract them. With that problem temporarily dealt with i turn back to the eye which has lowered all of the tentacles for some reason, something isn't right. The eye suddenly splits itself again showing its ugly mouth only now there's a ball of dark matter inside... OH SHIT! I channel all of the wind i could and fling myself into the wall narrowly avoid the devastating beam that was unleashed across the room. The knights as well as the humanoid monsters caught in it are entirely erased from existence, not even ashes are left of them. Wait this give me an idea! Newton's 3rd law states that all action have an opposite and equal force, if i can get the equal force of that attack to inflict backwards to the eye then it will be fucked. The eye charges the beam again and i charge my own beam out of all the elements, i didn't try to push it back directly but i dodge the beam instead and hit the ball from sides. *BOOOOOMMM* the resulting explosion shake the arena to its very core as the sphere of dark energy inside the eye imploded on itself eviscerating the eye inside out. As the smoke clears i could see they eye with its tentacles blown off with barely half of its lower jaw still intact bleeding all over the ground. I thought that this was it, this was the time to deal the final blow but i was proven wrong as they eye cackles madly and the iris sparkles ominously before i was engulfed in a violet light... everything turned black.
I was greeted to the sight of the void around me when i 'woke up'. There's nothing around here altogether, it was just pure darkness that i was floating endlessly in. Suddenly, a rumbling voice spoke out from the shadows.
?: *cough* haha you're a really powerful one aren't you?
Me: You're the eye am i right?
Eye: that's right, and i have to say, never in my whole existence have i seen someone as powerful as you.
Me: Let's just say i'm one of a kind.
Eye: It doesn't matter in the end how tough of a warrior you are, all it matters is your resolve in mind. To truly defeat me you must best me in the mindscape. You'll just perish like that old fool while facing your worst nightmare.
My WORST nightmare? It couldn't be him right, there's no way that this mindscape can recreate that absolute powerhouse right? My heart sank when the surroundings shift and turn before morphing into a medieval castle in the middle of the night where i'm standing on the roof. A swirling portal appears behind my back as i'm petrified, too afraid to see if it's really my worst nightmare. *WRYYYYYYY* a monstrous screech echoes through the area. One of the most powerful entities in multiverse, a slayer of gods and conqueror of universes... Golden Ronald McDonald!
Before i could even blink, Ronald pulls out a mcdonald menu and teleports behind me hitting me right the spine with an oversized french fry. Flying through the air, Ronald intercepts me mid-air tossing countless apple grenades that blew up in my face while also constantly knocking me further up using the coke laser beams and burger shurikens. Floating up to my level, Ronald beats the living shit out of me with unrelenting supersonic punches that makes the 7 page muda looks like child play. Who needs that when you have the insta-death mccombo? With a final hit to the chest that positively has broken the last of my ribs, Ronald turns the floor below us into cheese trapping me when i fall in it. I try kicking, squirming and even begging but the the cheese combined with the unbearable pain i'm feeling everywhere makes escaping impossible. Ronald levitates 6m in the air giving off a malicious laugh that would scare even the Joker as raw energy begins gathering inside him. He poses as he points a singular finger at me that is glowing red. OH FUCK NO HE'S USING RONALD'S MAGIC. A massive red beam collides with me burning my very soul, my charred body fell into the void again eventually hitting the floor that is another stage identical to the one earlier. The same exact portal appears as Golden Ronald is summoned again. Am i stuck in an infinite loop of death by fast food? Come one what the hell can i use to beat this bastard. How can i compete with his apples, fries, burgers, coke and cheese... THAT'S IT I HAVE TO OUT CHEESE HIM! Ronald teleports behind me again but i see it coming this time as i grab him and toss him in the air while blasting him with fireballs and as he falls to the ground, i grab him and repeat it again before he hits the floor. The meele Fox chain grab, one of the cancerous moves to ever exist. I feel ashamed of myself for using such an underhanded technique but it's the only way to kill this god among gods. I keep repeating the attack for another 30 minutes, i'm not taking any chance with this asshole, not with his unreal regenerative abilities in play. When i feel that he's nearly dead, i finish off with a powerful uppercut that launches him at the center of the arena. Ronald's body floats up as it slowly implodes until Golden Ronald is no more.
Eye: HOW COULD THIS BE! HOW COULD YOU OVERCOME YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE SO EASILY! ARRGGHHGEHHARGH!
And so with the challenge conquered, the eye's soul also wither out leaving behind a massive cloud of dust for me to absorb. Haaaaah that hits the spot, i can feel my legs again. Unlike Moris though, the eye didn't drop any gold but instead it drops 2 skillbooks and a set of what seems to look like the darkwraith armor from dark souls but the colors are inverted (the bones are black while the cloth is white)
