My containment cell looks a lot like a standard cramped apartment only it somehow feels cozier. The room includes a single bed, some bookshelves with classical novels like Sherlock Holmes, a tiny kitchen made of a fridge, stove and sink, lastly there's a table next to my bed with some pens and a blank book. For a supposed prison cell this place isn't half bad, the only thing missing is a bathroom but i don't really need it anyway. A tv would be nice, i'm not much of a reader if it's not manga. I was thinking of trying some Shakespeare poems when suddenly a containment breach alarm went off. This is site 17, the place where they keep low-threat humanoids, how could there be a containment breach? The only scp i could think of is 953 but it's highly unlikely that it would be her. Oh well, i'm cleaning this mess up either way. Sergei and the rest of my knights didn't have any requirements so the Foundation just gave them a storage room to stay in right next to mine. Since the door to both our cells weren't that tough, only roughly 80mm of reinforced steel that Sergei and i can effortlessly tear down.
The guards watching my cell didn't expect me to "breach containment" that fast with how willingly i came in yesterday and were too shocked to act. Ignoring the petrified guards, we move to the area of the breach which was coming from the research wing. Everything doesn't add up, containment and research are both separated, if there's a breach in research than that means they were live testing on something. No scp that i know of in site 17 is both strong and aggressive enough for that (343 is capable of it but he just acts like a chill old man). The door to one of the testing chambers was blown open crushing a guard on the wall and puddles of blood flow from inside the room. Stepping inside, i see a few researchers huddled in the corner cowering along charred bodies across the grounds. The source of this commotion was, to my surprise, a lich floating in the middle of the room summoning skeletons of its own. It didn't take me long to see oddly shaped shards of broken glass underneath its feet and realize that the Foundation tested on the crystal without my supervision! I'll take my complaint to Edmund later, now i have to deal with this thorn in my side. This lich was nowhere near as tough as Moris but it's still quite formidable being level 65. The skeletons it summoned were only soldiers, clearly no match for my knights, and were quickly dispatched. However, the lich managed to conjure up large fireballs and took out 4 of my knights. This is the first time i have seen my allies perish and i feel royally pissed off by the lich. I have Sergei cast a holy nova combined with me throwing a spear of light absolutely demolish the lich. Its horribly burned body turns into dust leaving behind a... book?
{skillbook [mid-tier necromancy]}
rarity: rare
Description: allows the user to summon mid-tier undead up to level 35 with the strongest undead being a skeleton knight. The number of undead is only limited by the user's mana capacity.
Huh, i guess it wasn't a lost for me after all, i still can summon my own knights but without limits like before. I may have the endless phantoms and endless paladins but they're a bit overkill outside of combat, this is a win for me. Almost immediately after i killed the lich, Foundation guards swarm the room escorting the remaining researchers safely outside while pointing their guns at me. Instead of quietly following them back into my cell, i make 3 terracotta warriors holding spears push the guards back and demand to see director Edmund. This accident may have benefited me but Edmund still broke his promise of letting my knights supervise the experiments so i have to make use of that fact.
[Later at an 05 meeting]
05-1: Now that the daily reports of each facilities are reviewed, would anybody make a suggestion?
05-6: Site 19 is containing a lot of dangerous scp more than what i'm comfortable with, i suggest we improve security there even further.
05-4: we already did all we could in improving security, there's nothing much more we can do unless we have a budget twice as big which is impossible or have a scp assist in containment which is highly improbable.
05-1: Does anybody else have a suggestion regarding the facilities or certain a certain scp?
Dr bright: *raises hand* can we make 096 fight 173?
05-9: *sigh* why did we even invite him here?
05-11: Actually i have one regarding the new scp 1025 in site 17.
05-3: We have a new 1025? when was it recovered?
05-11: About 3 days ago, Lizzie Mayfield the sister of a new researcher named Lauren Mayfield, was caught in a plane crash in the woods near Wyoming. On the brink of death, Lizzie encountered and was saved scp 1025 and 1025-1 which called themselves Yosif and Sergei though Sergei lacks speech. When a task force was sent to retrieve them, both scp willingly enter custody with scp 1025 having... extensive knowledge about the Foundation!
05-10: It knows about us?
05-11: Scp 1025 shows cooperation with the Foundation though it stated that it has some objections regarding some of our decisions. It is shown here that scp 1025 has displayed multiple powers including raising minions of skeleton knights and terracotta warriors, elemental controls and lightning fast healing capabilities.
05-2: It sounds dangerous, maybe we should move it to a more secure facility?
05-11: It is dangerous but i don't think we would be able to contain it. The best course of action now is to get it on our side. The only reason that it is angry at us is because our side broke a promise with it. I believe you all remember the object we discussed about yesterday.
Dr Bright: The magic crystal meth?
05-7: The crystal that has a self replenishing energy source, what about it?
05-11: Because of our rash decision to research it as soon as possible against the request of site 17 director Edmund, we violated the condition of letting scp 1025's knights overseeing the procedure as it want to make sure nothing bad happen to its property. Consequently, the procedures went wrong and caused the manifestation of an anomaly inside the lab that killed 5 guards and 3 researchers. To which, scp 1025 breach containment itself to clean up the mess before demanding to have a word with director Edmund. In the end, Scp 1025 was able to retain the crystal's energy but it made a request to us, the 05 council.
05-1: a request? What does it want?
05-11: To be a apart of the Foundation and has permission to "fix" the others scp. 1025 confirms that it was once human with compassion still left inside, it can't sit there and watch us mistreat some of the more "innocent" scps. It has also stated some interesting facts regarding this matter that a lot of the scps are product of mankind. For example, scp 096 used to be a child with a rare skin disease that caused it to be bullied a lot in its childhood leading to severe mental illnesses and after contact with an anomaly, shifts it into the 096 we know today. I highly recommend employing scp 1025.
05-1: This matter should be discussed more but for now i think it's in our best interests to have scp 1025 help us for now.
05-6: I think the rest of us also agree, with an scp that has a moral compass of a human being and possess such powers, 1025 has a lot of potential to contain or neutralize keter threats.
05-11: So it is decided, from now on scp 1025 will be part of the Foundation granted permission to freely roam the facility and is tasked with the safety of both scps and staves. Before we leave though, scp 1025 has personally made a message for Dr Bright.
Dr Bright: Oooh is it a confession letter?
05-11: Its exact words were "If you try anything funny with pure scps like 166, i will rip your spine of your ass and shove it down your throat. And don't expect to die so soon Bright, i will keep you alive for the next week stuck like that using my healing powers."
Safe to say Dr Bright's nonchalant attitude did a complete 180 and his smile disappears completely. The 05 then sees him frantically searching for his laptop before smashing it to bits. They were glad that someone has finally scared the reckless bastard.
[Back at site 17]
Director Edmund didn't expect the 05 council to agree with Yosif's request just like that but nonetheless inform the staff of the new personnel joining them. He then had a team install security monitors inside Yosif as well as providing Sergei's room a small armory. Looking at the cameras right now he couldn't express his shock as only 5 minutes after he made the announcement, Yosif's forces are already present at all security checkpoints and gates. A checkpoint would have 8 terracotta warriors and 4 knights guarding it while a gate has twice the amount. Squads after squads of skeleton knights would constantly patrol the entire facility without resting, Yosif and Sergei are personally guarding the containment wing. He can see that this is a giant leap for the Foundation.
And Edmund was correct, he is now going over the reports of the past 3 days. All of the staves are more than satisfied with the changes, even the class D are visibly more happy. Yosif and Sergei had been cooking for the entire facility and he has to admit, their cooking is amazing. The class D also have their own shares though lesser in quantity, it still tastes just as good. With the added force of all the skeleton knights roaming the hall, guards can relax more during work hours and janitors barely have to clean anything with how neat they kept the place. The total of number of incidents stood at an all time low of 0. Each knight seems to possess some of Yosif's powers though they are way inferior in it, they were able to help out during all mishaps. A scientist accidentally spilled acid on his hands and after 10 minutes with the help of the knights' healing ability, they were good as new. Edmund couldn't be happier about how efficient site 17 is so he decides that it's time for Yosif to begin his work. He rifles through all the dossiers about the scps contained here and found 1 perfectly suitable to be Yosif's first patient, scp 191.
[Yosif's pov]
I was watching the monitors as usual while listening to some music when the pager in my room abruptly buzzed. The voice coming from the pager was no other than Edmund himself.
Edmund: Yosif are you there? I have an assignment for you.
Me: Yeah i'm here, did an emergency come up?
Edmund: Do you remember how you asked to help some of the scps here?
Me: I do recall that, is it time already?
Edmund: Yes and i have already picked out someone for you to heal, scp 191.
Me: Yikes that's a long list of injuries, i'll get Sergei and some knights before i head there. I will try my best to heal the wounds but i don't think i can heal the traumatic injuries she suffered.
Edmund: Don't worry i'll have some psychiatrists look into that, all i ask is that you try.
Walking in a seemingly normal room that one would see in a family made for their children, i couldn't help but feel uneasy from the robotic little girl curled up in the corner. Her right half shows all of her robotic features including a metallic leg, claw hand and a red eye with a large section of her face being made of steel. She didn't seem to react to my presence at all, it's as if she was already dead. Just what kind of abuse has she suffered to be like this? Oh we will have a long talk in the abyss when i find you Salvadore you absolute piece of shit. As i want this to be without errors, i have to make sure she's perfectly still so i cast a small sleep spell that will only last for about 2 hours (though 191 is nearly robotic, her brain still manages all the work instead of the processors, they just send processed information to the brain). Sergei and the knights have to act as a medigun continuously making a healing beam directed at her, one false move and a sever wound will open up and kill her. I start with the easy part first being her hand and leg. I work my way down from the stump of the limb slowly pulling the implants apart while also healing her causing new flesh to grow at a rate that some apart even impales itself on the metal. I'm not sure if she would've reacted to the pain but i don't want her to experience any more form of pain to begin with. Next i move onto the more complicated part being the brain. I had to open her head up to look inside and things weren't looking positive. They weren't kidding when they say her brain was attached to a 24 core processor, it looks like some sick bastard turned her into a gaming pc. The layout is way too complicated for me to touch so i have to freeze her off to halt the blood flow before quickly cutting out the entire chunk of brain with the processor. I quickly materialize the missing part of the brain and was relieved to see no blood pouring from the cut so i thaw out the ice. Lastly, all i have to do left was just replace the eye by gouging it out and place new one it and heal the line connecting it to the already healed brain. I feel proud that i have completely healed her but then it hit me. Those were only the visible damage... Which means i have yet to work on the inside... OH HELL NO I AM NOT TOUCHING A MINOR LIKE THAT! Fuck me what the hell am i suppose to do, i refuse to go there... i'm going to hell for this but damn it all, the road to hell is paved with good intentions anyway. I order Sergei to disable all camera and listening devices in the room before i did something that i would never ever mention to anybody. I violated a child by shoving my hand up the [REDACTED]. After 15 minutes of abstract pain and i feel that all of her insides are fine again, i pull my hand out along with a whole pile of electronics that were installed there. It's finally done, she's now a normal child again. I tuck her into bed before leaving the room to purify my hand that has committed sin.
