(Tristan)
The day was much longer than normal due to all of the people I had to talk to. Some of the pirates were nice, but a most of them made me uncomfortable. What's worse is that Alyssa left me to fend for myself. She was talking with a short girl who didn't seem too happy with the conversation.
The whole time I was pretending to enjoy being social when all I really wanted to do was have Lucca hold me.
I make my way to the bathroom to get my hair wet again, but as I walk in, I notice my mistake. My eyes widen, and I twirl around quickly, slamming the door shut.
I hear Lucca laugh from behind me.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't know that you were in here."
"It's fine shortcake, you were gonna see all of this at some point right? Barging in here so suddenly, what do you need?"
I turn back around slowly with a red face. "I just needed a little more water." I say, looking anywhere but at him.
"Don't be shy then. Come get some."
"Umm… okay."
I walk towards the shower, hoping to pass Lucca without him doing anything to make me uncomfortable, but of course, that doesn't happen.
He grabs my wrist and yanks me close to his chest, smirking when I gasp. I look away from him, and push at his chest weakly. I could easily push him off… but I'm still not sure if I want to.
"Let go." I whisper.
He chuckles and turns me around to face the mirror that's in front of us. From the reflection I'm able to see most of his upper half, while his lower half is being blocked by my own.
"Are you sure you want me to do that?" He mutters, lips attaching to a sweet spot on my neck.
I moan softly at the feeling of his lips attached to my neck. However, I stop trying to push him off. "Lucca. We can't."
"Oh don't worry, I wouldn't do such a thing in the bathroom. Not now at least." I feel him smirk against my skin and his arms wrap around my waist. "It wouldn't hurt to have a little taste right? Who knows, maybe from this you'll get just what you came in here for."
I look into his eyes through the mirror, and agree. "I guess not."
"Then turn around and face me, I'm sure you're dying to see all of me…" He nips at my neck and runs his hands down my waist, occasionally letting his hand slip under and run over my skin.
"I-I… I should really… uhh… get my hair wet." I stutter, regaining my desire to change the conversation.
However, he doesn't listen, and instead he tangles his fingers into my hair and gives it a harsh tug while sucking a mark into my skin.
"I know you're strong enough to push me away, so go ahead, do it. I won't get mad…" he coaxes as he pulls away and admires the mark he made on my neck.
I feel my heartbeat speeding up as my breathing gets shaky.
"I don't…" I trail off. Maybe I should take more chances. I'm always doing what everyone else wants me to, but… I want to do something that I choose for once. "I don't want to."
"Hm? Then what do you want?"
"I… I just want to be with you."
He stops his actions and stares at me through the mirror, his expression slightly shocked from my answer. Suddenly, he laughs and shakes his head, resting his forehead on my shoulder.
"Saying something so cute, honestly… how am I supposed to react to that? It makes me want to hold you in my arms forever and never let anyone come near you."
"Then do it."
"I will, just not now. I'll certainly make you completely mine one day." He kisses the back of my neck and grabs his clothes from the floor, quickly slipping everything on before walking over to the door.
"Go ahead and get some water, I have a few things I need to get done so I probably won't see you until tonight."
I just nod my head, and turn the shower on, getting water in my hair before heading back to our room.
I sigh when I realize that I have yet another obstacle to face. I walk into the bedroom, noticing Leonel laying on his bed.
He smiles and waves me over while patting the spot next to him. "Ready for tonight? You know the cave is very beautiful, and I was told that the there will be no clouds in the sky which means we'll easily be able to see the stars. You'll watch them with me won't you?"
"Uhh. I actually already agreed to take a swim with Lucca while we're there. Sorry, but I don't know if I'll have time." I say, trying to explain without telling him that Lucca wouldn't let me go anywhere with him.
"Oh…" he mumbles, smiling sadly. "It's my bad honestly, I shouldn't hog you to myself. It's just… I always used to watch the stars with my mother before she passed. It was always quiet since never really needed to communicate. It's been awhile since I've seen the stars after that… but it's alright. I can always go alone."
"Oh…" I frown at his comments, and decide that he shouldn't be alone.
He lost both his parents, and now he's losing Lucca because of me. I know that Lucca won't be happy with it, but I want to be Leonels friend. I can't let him go by himself. "I can probably slip away from him for awhile. I'd love to watch the stars with you."
"Really? Well, I'd love for you to join me of course. I know this small space that'll be perfect to lay when we watch them. It's near the water and the grass is nice and soft. I think you'll really enjoy it." He looks down to his lap and fiddles with his fingers before nodding to the door.
"You should probably go tell Lucca your plans now and get it over with. He should be on the deck, either at the wheel or in his father's office."
"I wouldn't want to interrupt anything-"
"You wouldn't interrupt him. I'm sure it'll be fine."
"Alright." I say going back towards the door. "Thank you."
"I haven't done much, I should be the one thanking you. I'll see you later tonight."
"Yea… see ya." I make my way to the deck before searching around for Lucca.
When I don't find him, I head to the captain's office to see if he's there. Leonel said that I wouldn't be interrupting anything, so instead of knocking politely, I just walk in.
"C'mon Lucca, let's have some more fun." When I open the door I see Lucca in his chair being pushed back by on of the crew members trying to climb up onto his lap. His hair is a mess and his shirt is completely unbuttoned.
"Uhh… sorry. I didn't think I'd be interrupting anything. I'll just go." I say softly, feeling the tears gather in my blue eyes.
I close the door, and bolt back to our room. Once I arrive, Leonel stands up immediately to comfort me. Despite my desperate attempts, warm trails of liquid continue streaming down my face while Leonel hugs me.
"What happened, little dove? Why are you crying?"
"H-he… I thought that he only w-wanted me, but… he was with-" The rest of my sentence turns into a blubbering mess that even I don't understand, but Leonel seems to understand.
"I should've warned you about him from the beginning. He's quite the flirt. Never sticks with one person and teases and messes around with multiple people at one time. You shouldn't waste your tears over someone like him. You're too beautiful to cry…"
"I'm sorry for being like this. I-I just hoped that… he would fall for me." I hug him back tightly.
He leads me over to the bed, and lets me lay in his arms. "Why don't we just rest for now? You don't have to worry about him, just close your eyes and I'll protect you."
I close my eyes, cuddling into his warmth. "Thank you."
