Lucas stepped his foot out of the lift where Lady Daphne's ward was resided. From the corner of his eyes he saw two physically impressive men guarding her door.
His anger was on the verge to fly off the handle making him overly confident that he could tackle the two men on his own. He was convinced that he would be able to subdue them by one way or another. If nothing works, he got his status to back him up and it should be enough to pull some strings to enter her room.
As he made his way, the two men looked towards his direction and gave a slight bow out of respect.
'Good. It seems that they do know who I am,' Lucas confirmed based on the two men's reaction.
"Gentlemen, make way. I need to see Lady Daphne," he ordered sternly as he swished his hands.
"I'm sorry Sir but we were advised not to let anyone in."
