Lucas was uncompromising. He does not know what caused Sara to be this way but for now, he wanted her to rest; to care for her under his wings, to monitor her every movement. What would be a better place if not his manor?
But Sara's colleague does have a point. Bringing a human into a vampire's manor is just a no-no.
He may have his human plaything but it was never in his place.
He contemplated to put her under KHCI's care but is it worth driving there all the time when KEI has the facility to do the same? Somehow, he was reluctant to let her stay in the infirmary in KEI. It is too risky to place her there.
The one and only solution he could think of is to send her back to her flat. He could stay and watch over her but that would mean he had to withstand her flatmates scent.
He tried to rouse Sara up from her dazed state and persuade her to go home to rest but to no avail.
"Help me so I can help you, Sara," uttered Lucas.
