The sun had already drowned into the depth of the sea, giving the horizon a vibrant radiance. The hot ground was now cold to touch, and the breeze filled with moisture cooled the atmosphere.
Hose looked at the metal ship, with two men standing next to it, guarding the entrance.
"Listen carefully. We will sneak onto the ship as soon as they leave, " Hose whispered, moving his eyes towards the two men.
"Will they ever leave? Thanes and Kanon are Trevor's most trusted men."
Very looked at them, with somewhat doubtful of an expression.
Hina's face turned grim after hearing the assessment; looking at the men, she took a deep breath and volunteered. "I will grab their attention, till then you two get onto the ship."
The two shook their heads in unison, and they too volunteered for the job.
"I am the fastest. I can escape from them pretty easily, " said Veru in a sarcastic voice, polling out his knuckles.
"If that was the case then, why didn't you escape when Grine was chasing you?"
Very's boastful pace, turned nervous as he replied to the teenager. "T-that time I was just playing."
Hina looked at the two, sighed, and declared, she would be the one, grabbing their attention.
The two tried to persuade her, but she didn't bulge and replied. "Veru is too suspicious that they won't even chase him, and Hose, you are too valuable for this to work, but I am not."
Hose sighed, accepting that fact, he no longer would be able to persuade her. "Promise me, you will be on the ship before it's too late."
Hima grabbed his hand, "I promise..."
"Wait…." Veru interjected as an idea ran through his mind.
"We don't need to do that, "
"Hina, do you remember Sanim?"
"Sanim….. I do remember that name, but I can't recall who he was?" Hina rolled her eyes, trying to recall her memories.
"You may not, but I do. He is she, Sanim; remember the girl whom we saved when she was drowning."
Hina's eyes widened, as she bit her lips. "How could I have forgotten that girl?" She chuckled looking at Veru, "are you sure you want to ask her for help?"
"She might help us, but…"
Veru sighed as his face turned gloomy, "I know what I am playing with, but we have no choice left or do we?"
"Who is Sanim? Why would she help us? Why haven't I heard about her? Why are you looking at him like that?" Hose asked, turning towards Hina who was smirking at Veru; Veru's forehead was covered with cold sweat.
"It's just something that happened to us in the past, " Hina giggled as she looked at the depressed Veru.
The trio stealthily walked away from the dock, without making any sound as they made their way towards a big villa, which wasn't far away from the sea.
Very looked at the giant black gate and two guards, guarding it and sighed. "Hina, stay with Hose. I will bring here at our usual spot, "
"Okay, " grabbing Hose's hand, she left Veru alone outside the gate.
'I promised never to come back here, ' Veru took a few deep breaths as quietly circled around the gate, through the dense dark bushes.
'Easy….. Easy...' Veru stealthily reached the open garden, hiding his presence with his heart beating throbbing like a drum.
"Phew, " releasing his breath, he turned at the window, standing at least four meters from the ground.
Examining the surroundings, finding nobody near, he grabbed a small stone and threw it at the window.
Knack…..
The stone went through the window, leaving a fairly large circle behind it.
Veru stared at the window, hoping for somebody to open it, but nobody came out.
…..
He waited for another five minutes, but still didn't see any movement; his eyes widened as he saw the long pole extending all over to the top; drops of cold sweat appeared on his forehead.
He froze, hesitated to move. The calm wind clashed with his body; his body hairs spiked up, as he felt a sudden chill.
The window that shone brightly, dissipated a cold darkish aura towards him; he gulped down, looking at it with an astonishing gaze.
The air around him became heavier, as he marched closer towards the pole; beads of cold sweat dripped down his face to his neck, drenching his upper shirt.
He grabbed the pole with his hands shivering as if he was suffering from cold.
Checking out his grasp, he climbed; the nearer he reached, he sweaty his forehead, and nervous he became. His body shivered, whenever a gush of wind collided with his body.
"Ahh….." his hands slipped as he got lost into his thoughts, barely managing to hold to the pole once again, and started climbing.
