He came to a kind of very lush forest, which seemed strange to him because, in a mountain-volcano environment, a forest was nothing peculiar. It was not a normal forest, and apparently the entrances were like in the Kokiri Forest, with hollow logs. It was in a square space and there were three logs on three of the sides, unlike his, which was a concrete entrance, as if symbolizing that from there you reached Goron City. +
Link was already walking when the owl that he had met on previous occasions, which was standing on top of a log, told him:
" Hey, here!" Link ... I'm glad to see you again! Hear what I have to tell you! When you go through this forest, you will reach the sacred meadow of the forest. It is a sacred place that very few people have ever reached. Do you hear that mysterious melody? Listen to it carefully and, if you are brave, you will reach the other side of the forest without problems ...
And indeed, a mysterious song was heard coming from that forest. As Link did not know which log to take, he went to the right and his jaw dropped when he saw it appear in the Kokiri Forest.
It was not possible. How could he have gotten there if he was in that forest that connected to Goron City? He had heard that there was a forest on an upper floor behind Mido's house, where he was at that time, but he did not imagine that it was that and that it connected with an active volcano that was very far from there. Hyrule was getting stranger every time. one
Link decided to ask the Kokiri children if they knew anything about that forest, to which some did answer him, others asked him where he had gone or told him that Saria was waiting for him in the usual place. Those who answered him told him that this forest was the Lost Forest, a place where, if a child was lost, he would become a Skull Kid, a very ugly and lonely creature, the result of his being lost.
Link supposed that since he was kokiri there was no reason to worry. So, before going back inside, he went to Saria's house, but she was not there, so he decided to go with the children to ask them where Saria was, but even those who had told him that she was waiting for him did not know where she was. .
With all and grief, Link decided to go to Mido and ask him the same thing. He was at his house, with a face of bad temper and when he saw Link, he said:
"If you're looking for Saria, she's in the Lost Forest, as always." And don't tell me you don't know where it is! I bet you will get lost! But don't worry, you will return to the entrance. Phew!
Link left Mido's house and headed back to the entrance to the blissful Lost Forest. He entered, but was concerned that the concrete entrance that symbolized Goron City was no longer there, another log had appeared in its place. Without panicking, following the advice of the owl, he listened carefully to the mysterious song of the forest and heard that the song came louder from the trunk on the right, so he entered through it and reached another space, although no longer square. In front was a lower level and a dry tree. On the sides of the log that Link exited there were two more, but first he wanted to see what was on the lower level. Apparently there was nothing, so he kept hearing the song.
It got stronger in the trunk on the left, so it went that way. He was relieved when he saw the concrete entrance to Goron City, but since he still couldn't find Saria to help him, he decided to keep listening. The song came from the trunk on the right, so he went that way and came to another space similar to the ancestor, only now, opposite, there was a small pool of water and a tombstone at the end of it. Without paying much attention, he kept listening and continued to the left.
In the next clearing he followed the log in front, in the next on the left and in the next on the right.
