Kaizer was rushing down the corridor and drifted around corners as he looked for Alucard. There was a slightly shabby room in a shady corner. Kaizer walked in and was met with Alucard. Alucard was sitting at a large oak cabinet. He had many books that Kaizer had never seen on his shelves. Kaizer had been in the castle library many times but..... each and every book in this room was foreign to him.
What always weirded Kaizer out was that even though Alucard is the "Imperial Teacher" his room was so shabby compared to the rest of the Purebloods.
Alucard was a bit surprised: Kai can I help you with anything?
Kaizer took a seat across from Alucard and leaned on the desk..... from afar Kaizer could see blurry names on the side of the books but now all the names seemed to disappear.
Kaizer cleared his throat. "Ahem, I'd like to write the map test."
Alucard was surprised by the kid. "Already trying to finish all the written and verbal tests at such a young age. You're smart but a king must also have sufficient strength. At your pace, you may be taking your strength tests in a handful of years.
Alucard opened a drawer and pulled out a rough sand coloured paper. He took out some ink and provided Kaizer with a pen. "I want you to draw the map of the continent to the best of your abilities. If you get the main regions you will pass. However, if you leave one out you will fail the test. As you know.... it is 3 tries on each of the tests. If you cannot pass even after 3 tries it will result in failure and the next prince will have a chance to inherit the throne. You must also finish the tests before your brothers do, if any of them finish them before you.... they will inherit the throne. This rule was allowed because of the 50-year pregnancy average for vampires. However, in your case your mother had triplets. The king has decided that your brothers will have to wait until they are 30 until they can fight to win the throne. It isn't the best outcome but it is a good one."
Kaizer: We don't have to worry about Dante, I know him well enough....
