As night fell upon the mansion, Chris was getting ready for bed. Taking off his undershirt, he let out a sigh.
Suddenly there came a knock at the door.
"Hold on a minute I'm getting ch-"
Without hearing him, June walked in.
"O-oh!" June exclaimed.
"My apologies sir, I didn't realize you were getting changed..." She looked down sheepishly.
"No worries..." Chris smiled.
"Sir..." June whispered, staring at his back.
"I-is something the matter...?" Chris blushed.
"Oh!" She cried.
"N-nothing it's just..." She narrowed her eyes.
"That scar on your back looks like it hurt is all..." She whispered.
Chris's eyes widened, he then quickly put a shirt on.
"Oh, this?" He laughed.
"It's nothing at all..." He mumbled.
"Right..." June frowned.
"Anyway, I came in here to give you your laundry." She smiled.
"Hold on a minute," Chris began, frowning.
"Your sole job is to be my bodyguard," he began, grabbing the basket full of laundry from June.
"Please go tell Ema to come up," he said, furrowing his brows.
"If it's not too much trouble that is, I'm sure you're tired..." He quickly added, smiling.
"O-oh of course!" June nodded, quickly exiting the room.
Chris then let out a sigh.
"That girl needs to get her act together one way or another..." He whispered, brushing his hair back with his fingers.
June quickly popped her head in the doorway.
"Sir,"
"A-ah...!" Chris cried, startled.
"Oh, sorry for scaring you, however, I'm afraid that Ema is fast asleep on the couch..."
"The couch...?" Chris raised a brow.
"Why on earth..."
"If it's alright, I'll take my leave for the night, sir," June began.
"Ah, sweet dreams, June." Chris smiled, as the door shut.
"Now then," he began.
"Just what is that girl up to..." He whispered, narrowing his eyes.
