As the guards and the wizard dealt with the mess, Sascha and Askeladd walked away silently, as if it had nothing to do with them.
After a couple of minutes of walking, the nagging feeling of being watched finally disappeared. Only then did Askeladd relax slightly, however, he did not lower his guard.
How could he? He was as tense as a spring, but he couldn't be blamed for it, could he? After all, they were in a place where there were humans on every corner he looked at. His power was suppressed by the Suppressor, leaving him at the level of a mere human, more than slightly restless, Askeladd was completely on edge.
A slight gasp was heard coming from the woman next to him, and the wolf stopped, pulling Sascha to stop her next to him. He did not cost too much, due to the difficulty of walking with a child lying down, she was too tired to refuse.
