"Where are the informations I told you to find on that woman?"
Collin Stone glared at his two idiotic and incompetent sons who seem to be playing around and losing their sense of rationality day by day.
Jake and Timothy stood straight in front of their father who scrutinized them with his dark grey eyes. It was like it was Dominique staring at them in this manner. The resemblance was too striking.
"Sorry father that we didn't report to you earlier. We failed to get any information on that woman except for the ones I sent to you the other day."
Jake was the one brave enough to answer since Timothy was busy shaking and looking like he would collaspe soon.
"That isn't the information I was looking for. I expected something more than age and degree."
Collin snarled at Jake. He couldn't help but sigh, if it was his eldest son then he would have gotten the information in less than an hour but that particular person doesn't take orders from anybody.
"That was all we could find, it's as if someone deleted her profile intentionally to avoid leaking out information."
Jake stated. He wondered why someone would delete her information? This woman was becoming more mysterious day by day.
"Why are you shaking?"
Collin finally acknowledged his other son who was still shivering as if he caught a cold. Timothy still lived up to his title as the last born of the family. Always behaving childish and immature.
"Nothing."
Timothy said and walked towards the couch in the office and sat down with a huff. He was tired and scared of his father's presence.
Suddenly, the door opened and in revealed Dominique who strode further into the office after closing the door behind him.
"Father." He gave a curt nod and briefly glanced at his younger brothers before returning his gaze to his father's piercing ones.
"Where have you been?"
Collin Stone asked.
"At the office."
Dominique replied simply. His dark grey eyes matching that of his father's. The complete younger version of Collin Stone. He turned his head to Jake and asked "Has Ezekiel been found?"
Jake nodded his head. Being with this two men in the same room was almost suffocating.
"Apparently, that same woman was the one who found him."
Dominique raised his brow at his father. Woman?
"Woman? "
"That white-haired woman who attended the party last time."
"Oh."
"She found Ezekiel being chased after by some men in the mall. She took him to her house and then brought him here."
Collin explained to his eldest son expecting some sort of reaction but all that was crushed when Dominique gave a nod with an "Okay". Okay? What did he mean by okay?
"What do you mean by that? "
"What were you expecting?" Dominique answered with a bored sigh.
"Haven't you noticed that anytime Ezekiel is in danger or goes missing she always seem to appear at the scene! " To say he was livid was an understatement, he was furious. Why were all his sons brainless?
"Are you trying to say that she might be connected to the events happening with Ezekiel? Just because she happens to be at the scene doesn't mean that she's the mastermind behind all this." Dominique answered with a slight anger in his voice. He didn't like that his father was accusing Esmeralda.
"Dominique's angry." Timothy whispered to Jake. This was the first time he saw his brother like this and it was all because of a woman. Was he smitten by her?
Jake was also thinking the same thing. Was Dominique having feelings for that woman? No matter the outcome he would surely support his decision.
"And why do you think she is not the one behind this? " Collin Stone asked his son. He was surprised to see Dominique a little riled up about this matter.
"I don't think, I know so. I will look into the matter and get back to you, if there is nothing else I'll get going."
Jake and Timothy saw their brother turn his back at their father and leave the room. They averted their gaze back to their father and saw a furious look on his face.
"I wonder where he got that damn attitude from?! All my sons are so useless!" He then noticed the pair looking at him and sent death glares. "Why are you still here?! Get out! "
The duo scrambled out of the office and met their eldest brother halfway. Timothy stood in front of Dominique blocking his path.
"I can't believe you Dominique. You got angry over a woman you don't know."
Jake was looking at his younger brother with a shake of his head. Sometimes he wondered why Timothy was so stupid sometimes.
"And how does that concern you?" Dominique's expression was cold as always.
"It does concern me. I'm your baby brother and I love you."
Jake was frightened at the way Timothy tried to act cute. Doesn't he love his head?
"If you don't disappear from my sight..." There was a hidden threat in his words. A promise, a painful one for that matter.
Timothy felt chill crawl down his spine and he quickly step aside. He didn't risk standing his ground, why? Because he loves his head still intact and not rolling on the floor.
"How did Ezekiel get missing this time?"
The younger siblings heard the question and looked at each other. Jake decided to answer afraid that Timothy would say something to anger the old Emperor.
"Apparently he was coming back from school and told Mark he was hungry for chocolate and decided to stop by the mall. Then, he was chased by some thugs and that's how he bumped into that woman." Jake explained. Sometimes he felt like Dominique was more of a father figure to Ezekiel than himself.
"We better find out what happened. He was lucky to meet Esmeralda or else, your heads would be hanging on the ceiling after father's done with you." Dominique entered the living room and sat down on the couch. His mind was occupied with a lot of things. And fifty percent was his nephew and the other fifty Esmeralda. He hopes he would see her soon.
