"Ezekiel!"
Jake called his son who ran towards him after he heard his name.
"Yes daddy!"
"Where did you meet uncle Kyle?"
He asked his son. His eyes drifted towards the two people seated at a secluded area. He didn't understand why this man was here and how his son knew him.
"At the front door."
"The front door?"
"Yes. He came with auntie Snow White."
The little boy answered and he pointed at the woman sitting with her back straight.
"And where did you meet auntie Snow White?"
Ezekiel his son surprises him daily by doing things he would never expect and never think a five year old could do.
"At a café. I got lost and couldn't find uncle Mo. Then I met her and she helped me find him. Since then we became friends."
The little boy explained to his confused father who looked at him with a frown. He knew he had gotten himself and his uncle in trouble by saying the truth about what happened.
"I see. And who is uncle Kyle to auntie Snow White?"
"He's her friend."
Jake nodded his head and dismissed his son before moving to the place where his brother stood by the edge of the pool. On reaching him he pushed Timothy with a little bit of force almost sending the man falling into the clear water.
Regaining his balance, Timothy glared at his brother and gritted his teeth
"Do you want to kill me?! "
"I think I should considering the fact that you almost lost my son!"
Timothy's face grew pale as he fidgeted. Here comes the angry lion and his scolding.
"How did you know about that?"
His voice barely coming out like a squeak.
"It was Ezekiel who told me even though I knew he didn't want to but accidentally, he did."
Jake continued to glare at his little brother who avoided his gaze. He was contemplating on punishing him or warning him.
"I didn't mean to. It was a mistake."
"Always a mistake. Ezekiel also told me that that lady found him when he was lost. Do you happen to know anything else?"
Jake inquired. He was hoping to get anything to know more about that woman. It was rare for his son to befriend people so why this mysterious woman.
"Bro, I don't even know her name. What else do you want me to know?"
"Didn't you meet her before."
Timothy nodded his head at his brother's question like a rattler.
"Didn't you both introduce yourselves?"
"Yes but all she did was nod, didn't even utter a word."
Jake sighed. This wasn't going anywhere. He told his younger brother to investigate the white haired woman.
Meanwhile, everyone at the party where surprised to see the great Kyle Accardi at a kid's birthday party. Maybe he was invited by the Stone family since they were now partners on their new project. Even the older Stone couldn't help but feel insecure around this guest's sudden arrival. He confronted his sons hoping to know if their older brother had become friends with the man to the extent of inviting him.
"No father. Mr Accardi only escorted a friend here, nothing else."
The older Stone brother answered and took a sip from his wine. He watched his son converse with the man they were currently talking about.
"And who's the friend?"
The older Stone frowned at his son's words. Who in their family was friends with the friend of Kyle Accardi.
"The woman sitting beside him."
The older Stone turned his head to look at the beautiful woman with white hair sitting silently, listening to the little boy's words. Her face was expressionless not like that of the other women present.
"Who is she? Did you invite her?"
"She's Ezekiel's friend. They met two days ago. Ezekiel invited her himself."
Timothy was the one who answered the question. He was munching on some Oreo cookies. A glass of orange juice on the table beside him.
" She's an unknown woman whom your son accepted as his friend and you allowed her in here?! What if she's an assassin?!"
Rage was slowly seeping into the middle aged man who glared at his two idiotic sons. Letting a stranger in without knowing her identity was a cause for an alarm.
The brothers cowered in fear of getting scolded from their father. They were not as strong as their elder brother who wouldn't bat an eye lid nor flinch when shouted at or threatened.
"We made a mistake."
Timothy said in a voice barely audible.
"What's her name?"
The older Stone asked. He ignored his sons and returned his gaze to the woman who still didn't move from her position. He stared at her with a scrutinizing gaze. He noticed that the woman had a domineering aura and his frown deepened. Just who is this woman?
"Uhm... We don't know."
"What do you mean by you don't know. "
The older Stone didn't know what to do with his two idiotic sons. Were their reasoning and sensibilities dead? Or did their brain take a 180 degree turn and they became foolish unknowingly?
The older Stone just said "Find out what you know about that woman and report to me immediately." and left.
The Stone brothers let out a sigh of relief and sat down on the chairs close to them. That white haired woman was really out for their blood unknowingly. Not only is she mysterious she didn't even say a word ever since she entered their territory. Was she mute?
"If we don't find any information on that woman, our heads are going to be hanging on roof. Where is Dominic for crying out loud?"
Timothy wailed suddenly loosing his appetite.
"Your brother is unpredictable. You won't see him when you need him and when he comes... Well let's not go there."
Jake rubbed his aching temples and closed his eyes. He was mentally drained.
"It's time to cut the cake!"
Someone yelled gaining everyone's attention and at the same time Timothy saw a dark figure passing by inside the house. His face lit up and he nudge his brother who jerked away.
"Careful!"
"It's like your brother has arrived."
