Everything was going well, so to say. The party was going great. The cake had been cut and now it was time for the presentation of gifts. Esmeralda looked towards her brother who was enjoying himself with a cup of orange juice.
"Where's the gift?"
She was indirectly telling him that he forgot the jar of homemade cookies in the car. She noticed when they were being dragged by the little panda.
Kyle realised this and immediately stood up to leave. He didn't want to get glared at right now. He walked into the house and brought out his phone to send a text to one of the guards to get the cookies from the car for him.
Entering the living room he stopped, coming face to face with a dark figure emitting danger. The figure stared at him with his grey eyes as hard as steel with a surprised look.
"Mr Accardi."
"Mr Stone."
The both greeted each other and continued to stare at each other. The atmosphere became a little bit tense and anyone around could feel the pressure.
"I didn't expect to find you in my home."
The eldest Stone brother said. What might have brought this man to their home? Maybe he was invited by his father?
"I was invited by a friend. No need to be so alert Mr Stone. If you'll excuse me I have somewhere to be."
Kyle walked away without looking back. To say he was scared would be an understatement. He felt as if his soul almost left his body. He had confronted this man ones with pure business intentions but, talking to him just now was scary. It wasn't like the man did anything to harm him but just standing close to him nearly drained his energy.
"Boss, here are the cookies."
One of the guard handed the blue jar of chocolate chip cookies to Kyle who nodded his head at him. Now it was time to present this cookies to the little guy and convince his sister to leave. Just the thought of convincing her made him sigh deeply.

"Finally you've arrived. I thought I would have to come dragging you from that office of yours."
Timothy's happiness knew no bound when he saw his elder brother walking towards them with a cold expression on his face.
Jake rolled his eyes at his younger brother and returned his gaze to the man they had been waiting for.
"Where is Ezekiel?"
The man asked not caring about his younger brother who shook their heads at his typical nature.
"Seriously, not even a hug."
Timothy pouted trying to test the waters but all he got in return was a glare. Don't look at me like that!
"He's with his lady friend."
Jake asnswered.
"Lady friend?"
Timothy chuckled at the way his elder brother echoed Jake's words. It felt like he heard Jake utter the word girlfriend.
"Yes. They're over there."
Jake motioned towards the two figures sitting down at the corner. They could see Ezekiel's hands moving as he explained something to the other person who's back was facing them. Her white hair was in a bun. Suddenly Kyle walked towards the woman and the little boy with a jar in his hands. They watched him give the little boy the jar with a smile.
"Did he just smile? "
Timothy asked in disbelief. He never knew that man was capable of smiling.
From the little boy's movements they could tell that he was very excited. The little boy hugged Kyle and then moved to hug the woman he was talking to earlier. They noticed that it took a long time before the woman hugged the little boy back. When she turned to the side the big man stiffened. Jake and Timothy noticed the sudden change and frowned at him. Was there something wrong?
"Do you know her Dominique?"
Dominique nodded his head but didn't let his gaze waver from the woman he had met that evening.
"I met her two days ago."
"You and Ezekiel sure are meeting people this days."
Jake uttered.
"Where did you meet her?"
Timothy was suddenly interested in his brother's daily life when he heard the revelation. This woman sure is something to capture this demon statue's eyes.
Dominique was about to answer but saw the woman in question get up from her chair. They were leaving?
"I think she's leaving!"
Timothy voiced out.
"I don't think so. That man is still seated."
Jake said.
Dominic left their triangle and moved swiftly to the direction of the white haired woman. He knew he had to see her. Just looking at her from a distance won't do him any good. He had to talk to her and atleast know her name. The last time they met she left him with nothing but a memory. He didn't know why he was interested in her. Her image clouded his head and his nights felt abnormal. What did she do to him?
Walking down the hallway he caught a glimpse of white turning round a corner. He felt like she was a ghost intentionally running away so that he could catch her. Ending up at a white door he realised led to the toilet he sighed and decided to wait by the side. He wasn't going to let this opportunity pass. Why was he feeling this way? She was just a stranger who he knew nothing about except for the fact that they both visit the hill for a quiet time and to clear their heads. Apart from that there was nothing.
Dominique raked his hand through his hair. He felt nervous and it was all because of a woman, a beautiful one indeed.
The door opened and out walked the woman he had been waiting for. They both froze as they stared at each other.
Esmeralda was shocked to see the man she had met two days ago. Was he waiting for me this whole time I was in there? She couldn't point out exactly why this man was here. She decided not to think too much and returned back to the present. She offered him a small smile which was obviously fake and said
"Hello to the man I asked to be my boyfriend."
