In the heart of the city somewhere far from the bustling city, a hill could be seen. A figure could also be seen climbing the rocky path of the hill.
Esmeralda continued climbing until she stopped at the top. Breathing in the fresh air and looking around her gaze stopped on a figure. His broad back and black hair was the only visible thing she could see. He was sitting on her favorite spot on the hill, a flat square shaped rock that was slightly bent to the side. Just looking at his back view she could tell that he was a big man.
Walking towards the rock she sat some metres away from the man. The rock was big enough to accommodate twenty people, if not more.
Feeling a new presence on the hill the man didn't turn to see who it was that interrupted his peaceful moment. He thought that it was one of his men. But when the person sat down some distance away from him he turned to look at the invader. What he saw made his heart skip a bit and his eyes flashed for a second then returned to their cold gaze.
He observed her more than he expected. There was something about this woman that he couldn't seem to find it in him to avert his gaze from her. She was like a magnet that suddenly attracted him unexpectedly. He was like a moth drawn to a flame. Her white hair fluttered against the wind making her look almost imaginary. Her alabaster skin made her stand out and everything seemed to pale in comparison.
Finally she turned her head to stare at him. Her emerald green eyes looked a little bit dull and empty but they were captivating. He was amazed. Her features amazed him and she didn't know it.
"I see you have taken a liking to this place."
He heard her say. Her voice were calm and soft. He didn't know why but it made him feel relaxed. Unknowingly, he found himself talking back.
"It's peaceful and quiet."
He watched her nod her head and then turn back to watch the busy city from afar.
"I wasn't expecting to meet anyone here for a long time. But I guess my secret hideout had been discovered a long time ago, no?"
"I've been visiting this place for a long time and I didn't see anyone here. Maybe our timing didn't clash except for now."
She heard his deep voice and again, she turned her head to look at him. His piercing gray eyes stared at her. It felt like he was trying to see through her soul. His aura was somehow chilly but it didn't affect her. She eyed him and observed him. This man was pure masculine. He was wearing a business suit with a loose tie, the top button of his shirt was opened and his thick mane was out of place. He looked like a bad boy in a suit. A handsome one infact.
Time passed by and they both watched the sunset together.
"It's beautiful."
The man said still watching the big ball of orange light go down.
"It is."
She replied. Standing up from the rock she dusted her clothes and looked at the man who seems to have gotten up some minutes ago straighten his suit.
"Shall we?"
He said gesturing towards the path that leads down the hill.
Esmeralda nodded and they both walked down the hill in silence.

Down the hill, some men in black were seen casually leaning against the black cars parked in vertical order. They were all talking about something unimportant. A few of them just stayed silent either listening without contributing or not interested and decided to do something else. Suddenly they heard the sound of approaching footsteps and they shut their mouths quickly and straightened their stance. Where they looked at the place where the sound was coming from they couldn't help but gape at the two figures approaching.
Their boss was with a woman? But how? They were sure that when they came to this place there was no one around. So where did this woman come from? The group of bodyguards were confused and at the same time dumbstrucked. They didn't know when Esmeralda entered the hill because they were all caught up in a heated conversation and their sense of focus and alert was diverted. They continued to stare the the duo until they reached them.
The man turned towards Esmeralda and his eyes gazed at her beautiful face.
"Are you okay going back by yourself or should my I drop you off?"
His deep voice echoed throughout the quiet open space.
The bodyguards eyes widened when they heard the man. What does he mean by "Or should I drop you off? " Since when did he become this generous?
Esmeralda shook are her head at the man's offer and said
"I'll be fine on my own so there's no need to worry."
The man didn't look convinced but when he saw the look in her eyes telling him to not bother he decided to let it be. He didn't know why he cared about her safety. Maybe it was because it was dark and dangerous. But this was so unlike him. Everything since the start when he met this woman was so unlike him.
He was about to say something else when the suddenly cut him off with a very shocking question.
"Will you be my boyfriend?"
She asked. Her expression giving nothing away and leaving the other men shocked.
"Miss, how can you ask that to someone you just met?"
One of the men asked in disbelief.
"Why? What is wrong with my question?I asked him to be my boyfriend, is there is anything wrong in it?"
She tilted her head to look at the man who asked the question.
Mean while, the big man with eyes as hard as steel continued to stare at her with a gaze his surbodinate has never seen before. Was that a look of amusement and interest in his eyes?
"What if I say yes?"
The big man asked.
His question shocking everyone except the woman in front of him.
"Then you're in luck."
She stated.
"And just to clear your head of any misunderstanding in what I said... I meant, will you be my friend who is a boy. Don't complicate things."
She cleared out.
The men stared at her with disbelief. She really had them unexpectedly.
"My answer is yes."
The big man stated with a serious expression. It was like he had made an important and beneficial decision in his lifetime.
"Alright. I'll be leaving then. If fate has it then we will meet again. As of now, goodbye mister."
They all watched her leave and then disappear into the darkness. It was like she was an angel who appeared and disappeared quickly.
The man continued staring and the corner of his lips lips lifted but this act only lasted for twenty seconds before returning back to his cold features.
