Sophia trembled as she woke up form the anesthesia and opened one eye. As Sophia glanced over the ward she noticed it was a VIP room. She try to get up but felt a tearing sensation in the side of her abdomen. The first thing that was on her mind as she held onto the IV stand was looking for Lucus. She swayed back and forth as she fell to the floor.
"NURSE!" Sophia screamed in pain prompting a rush of nurses and doctors. The nurses help Sophia as they look surprised.
"What happened?" Sophia murmered as she held her head.
"You made it through the night you lost alot of blood!" Stated the nurse as she pointed at the blood infusion on the IV pole that was done.
"You were in critical condition. A bullet was about to hit you in a vital place. But you are out of danger now!" A Doctor came in and walked over to Sophia as he undressed her stitches and checked to see if they were intacted.
"Where is Lucus?" Sophia trembled with tears as she held onto the railing on the bed.
"I'm right here." Lucus said softly as he walked in with an arm sling. He pity the state Sophia was in her hair was dishevelled and her eyes were emotionless. He felt guilty for dragging Sophia in his mess.
"I'm sorry baby, after we heal, I will take you to Italy..." that fine?" Lucus hugged Sophia gently but had no response.
"Sophia?" she was empty but tears just fell on Lucus shirt. She gripped his shirt and shook her head.
"No, I don't want to. I don't care for a trip to anywhere." Sophia was in between sobs her words sounded like gurgles but Lucus understood.
"I just want you and you only. I want that Hell-born sister and brother in jail." Cried Sophia as she sobbed even more.
"I know baby, but I have bad news." Lucus sighed as he pet behind her hair. "Aurora and Joey escaped the country."
"What?!" Sophia'd mouth was agaped as she looked at Lucas as she pulled away from him.
'How could they got away?' Sophia felt miserable, a misery that she never felt in her life. A misery similar to dating Alexander....a...huge....DISAPPOINTMENT.
"How?" stated Sophia empty as she starred at Lucus.
"The Detective stated they got away with a private jet and they don't know the destination. They left before a warrant was issued."
Sophia eyes were puffy as she closed them she felt a relief but scared that that brother and sister duo wasn't going to give up even in another country.
"I rather not travel for now...We don't know where they are." Sophia mumured loudly but it was drowned out by the beeping of the machines.
"As you wish, Sophia...As you wish..."
[Meanwhile in Italy]
"It's good to return to Italy..." Aurora stated as she pulled down her sunglasses as she left the jet. She turned towards Joey who stepped out with a hoodie and sunglasses trying not to be seen.
"You have to wear flashy clothes, Aurora..." Joey whispered loudy as they walked towards a private car on the runway.
"We are back in our home country with our relatives...besides we need all the help we can from uncle and mother." Aurora grinned as she opened the door to see a woman striking appearance to Aurora but older and except for the eyes, they were mesmerising purple. Extremely rare as Lucus eyes.
"My children!" the woman smiled fakely as she tilt her head at Aurora, Aurora kissed the woman cheek instantly knowing it was her mother....
"Took us forever to find you mom!" Joey mumbled as he got in the car.
"Hey! Watch your tone young man! Francesca had to get away from that mansion and you know why... " A man chuckled as the duo's mother leaned back with a heavy look to reveal a man in his late 40s.
"Uncle!" Aurora smiled gleefully as she quickly got in the car to hug the man. Joey wasn't all that thrill to see thier uncle but Aurora enjoys seeing him.
"You two would have been young Billionaires if that Lucus bastard hadn't appeared. Took your family wealth and drive you both to insanity! Now you both are wanted futives! Give me half a mind why I shouldn't shot Lucus!" the man banged his cane on the car floor making Francesca tense.
"Uncle, relax..." Aurora said calmly as Joey climbed into the car signalling for the driver to drive off through the partition.
"If Lucus set foot in Italy I'll kill him! But my sweet Aurora and boy Joey we need to switch your style up. Any suggestions?"
Aurora smirked and pulled out a picture of Sophia taken from Lucus house.
"I want to look like her completely!" Aurora hugged her uncle arm pleading. "Please, she's the bitch that ruins our lives and I want to prove to Lucus I can be whatever he wants!"
"Your wish is my command, sweetheart!" he tucks the photo away in his suit and narrow his eyes causing Francesca to become more nervous.
[Carter Manor]
Lucus was dreaming he heard his names several times from a woman her eyes were filled with sorrow. Her eyes exactly like his. She held the child a child to a man. The man sounded familar, it was his teacher.
"Francesca?"
"Carlo!" The woman called as she ran towards the man. "Are you really going to take in that woman and her children!"
"She is your twin sister after all?"
"She is a demon!" Francesca screamed as she felt rage.
"A young boy and a baby girl is too much we already have Alexy!"
"Aurora and Joey are our niece and nephew after all!"
"Those children are just pawn to get your pity, Carlo! That woman is the devil! Remember she triesd to kill me!"
"Enough!"
"Carlo!! Carlo!! I know she was your first love but I am your wife!"
Lucus tossed and turned as he woke up briefly just to dream again.
"Alessa, please! Have mercy!" the woman cried as she watch the woman walk towards Francesca with a knife and the dream ends with a toddler watching the scene.
Lucus woke up in a cold sweat wondering what he just dreamt about and turn to look over to Sophia as he winced softly in pain. He smiled and draw her closer with his available arm.
