Lucas felt a bit of grief after him and Sophia were at the airport. Sophia was overall tired after the traffic jam and all she felt tired. It was an executive airport, so it wasn't bustling, and their plane was being loaded with their luggage.
"I'm so tired, Lucas, why do we have to leave at 4 am. Why are there so many people at 4 am?" Sophia whined as she laid her head on his shoulder.
"Because dear, there is lots to prepare for. They're loading our luggage now." Lucas stated as he scrolled through his phone for those news articles on Aurora's and Joey's wearabouts.
Sophia walked over to a vending machine and got a candy. As the hour ticks by and Sophia is sleeping on Lucas lap, he can't help but look down at the sleeping girl.
"Mr. Carter, your flight is ready to take off." The pilot stated with a thumbs up as he walked up to them. Lucas had his hands full, but he managed to pick up Sophia.
"Alrighty..." Lucas trembled as he carried Sophia his shoulder was still in pain, but she was worth the carry.
Sophia woke up to a slight nudge as she woke up on the plane. When did this happen? Who? What? Where?
As Sophia looked up at Lucas, who smiled at her playfully.
"So, you carried me on the plane?! Weren't there reporters surrounding the plane?!" Sophia panicked slightly as she blushed.
"Well, it doesn't matter. We are known as a power couple, my dear." Lucas chimed as he kissed Sophia's hand. "The reports are positive today of how I've been a caring partner to you."
Sophia blushed and buried her face in his lap. As the flight was slightly long and boring for Sophia, she knew a relaxing vacation in Lucas home country was in order.

Aurora enjoyed her new face as she got out of surgery. Not only did she look like Sophia, but she had perfect proportions to Sophia's face. If someone wasn't too careful, they might have mistaken her for Sophia.
"Thank you, Uncle Mateo." Aurora tried to smile through the bandages, but Mateo took that as happiness gushing from his niece.
"No problem, princess, you are already ruining your face before you recover. Just focus on healing." Mateo sat back in the hospital chair, and poor Francesca was a nervous wreck.
'When should I tell the kids I'm not their mother. Mateo told me to act like their mother. If only Alessa wasn't a psycho. I miss my poor Lucus. He looks like Carlo every day.' Francesca was playing with her fingers as the door opening interrupted her.
Joey came in with a sandy blonde hair girl and green eyes with freckles. She looks remarking and mirrors Regina in all aspects.
"Everyone meet my new girlfriend, Lucia. Thanks to Uncle Mateo setting me up with a date. Lucia is an officials daughter. She is gorgeous and all I ever wanted." Joey smiled as he hugged the girl by the waist.
"I see she looks so much like Regina yet so different. My brother lost his old girlfriend because she wasn't mentally stable she tried to kill our family friend." Aurora tried to weep. Francesca could see through the evil of these siblings. She still remember what they did overseas and how there is a warrant out for their arrest.
"Oh, poor Joey, let's get some food, I'll bring some food for Aurora too. She's on a liquid diet, I hear, so I'll get her something tasty." Lucia smiled naively towards the siblings.
As they both walked out of the room, Mateo grunted as he got up with his cane.
"Well, it's time for me to take care of business. Aurora, someone will come get you by tonight. Be nice to your mother." Mateo walked over to the bed and patted Aurora's head as he chuckled at the girl due to the lack of facial movement her eyes said all.
The room was silent, and that left Francesca. Francesca was about to get up, and Aurora opened her mouth to say something.
"Mom, you've been distant ever since we arrived. Do you not love us enough? Do you think we are bad children?"
Francesca shook her head and stood up. She slowly wrapped her arms around Aurora.
"My child, don't ever say that. You are just confused. Mother always loves you, but mother hasn't been feeling well mentally." Francesca had a tired tone in her voice. As she wiped away Aurora's tears.
'If only this child didn't bear the curse of her mother's obsession and chaotic nature, she would have been a good girl by now.' Francesca thought to herself as she brushed Aurora's hair.
"Aurora, I have to go, I have to take care of business as well. Please be good, baby." Francesca ran off with her purse while waving at Aurora.
Aurora remained silent, but a smirk came across her lips as she held on to a few strands of hair.
"Well, "mother", let's see why, you are so distant lately, Auntie Francesca." Aurora smiled psychoticly as she looked at a photo of Francesca and Alessa. "You two look alike, but I snatched this from Lucas's mansion as well. Let's see who you really are, Francesca."
