I pulled out a tray of already made turkey and without much ado, I took a large chunk out of it and tossed it into the microwave. I would have liked to microwave the entire turkey but I doubted it would fit in the microwave and I knew that would even take a longer time for it to get warm.
I didn't return the rest to the refrigerator because I was sure I was starving enough to eat up the entire turkey or at least almost all of it. The microwave was slower than usual but I was sure it was just my hunger talking.
Eventually, it went ting and I pulled out my breakfast, dinner, whatever. I never knew what the time was around here, someone would have to put up a large clock. I sat as comfortably as I could and dug in.
I heard her rustling, then I heard my door close. That was a little weird but I didn't give it much thought, I was all the way in the kitchen hearing my door close was almost impossible unless someone banged it and Callidora never did.
