Now she took a seat across from Sal, looking at him as he put the headphones on his system.
"I have to say, on the call, I thought you wouldn't be able to come through."
"You thought I will…" Amara cut a sigh across her neck, and there was a flash of concern in his eyes. Xavier, were you worried for me?" Amara rested her chin on her hand, and a teasing smile spread across her lips.
Amara's hands started to move towards the system, and she looked into Sal's eyes as he sat with a sigh.
"Finally you speak of it, so we have decided to speak of it."
Amara looked down and gave a shy smile, I've never done anything like that before; I freaked out."
"You ran," he smirked.
"You are pleased with yourself," Amara said, looking away, feigning annoyance.
