The plane landed in India, at Delhi Airport, and she walked out of it with all of her glory, putting on her sunglasses and skidding her bag, displaying her face clearly to the security. She took a deep breath, looking at her phone steadily as several sirens could be heard, getting closer and closer.
"Here we go," she said to nothing in particular. The sirens get closer, the cab comes to a halt, the three police vehicles circle them, and the driver looks apprehensive. at her and then around as the officers come out of their vehicles.
The poor driver started to get out.
"Koi baat nahi bhayiya, yelog mere liye aye hai." She gave him a calm smile and said, "Thank you." She paid him and helped him get out of the cab.
