Chapter 19 - Disturbing turn of Events

"So the Princess is back after all these years. Why is she back to the place she termed as 'hell'? What made her come back?" Sophia Miller said walking towards Louisa

Her feet were tripping all the time.

Louisa didn't reply to her anything and tried to ignore her mother

"Tell me Princess, why are you here? What brought you here? Do you want some share in your property? Or do you have some evil intentions?" Sophia asked leaning on her daughter by placing her both hands on Louisa's shoulders

Louisa easily guessed that her mother is not in her senses when her nostrils inhaled the breath when Sophia leaned on her shoulders

"Madam please be seated you are not in your senses now. Please don't speak anything, which you never meant. It will only give birth to unwanted banters," Of Flora said coming between them

"Let her spit the venom she has been storing in her heart for me Aunt Flora. It is nothing new to me and she is not speaking anything without control. She is saying the hatred she had on me," Louisa yelled

"Lower your voice, Princess. It's disturbing your darling mother," Sophia said tracing her finger on Louisa's chin

Louisa pushed hands away but Sophia held her tighter

"How hard you may try to push me away, you will just fail in that dear because you are born from me. You are my blood," Sophia yelled on Louisa's face

"Move away from me or else I will do that and you won't like it when you take things into my hand," Louisa yelled

"Do you think you can petrify your mother with your voice Princess? That's not even possible. Try new ways," Sophia Miller said pulling her hands back

Sophia walked towards the dining table fumbling and fell flat on the floor. All the staff present there ran to her recur and made her stand on her feet

"Mam, please be seated," the staff made her sit

Flora ordered the staff to fetch the first aid kit as Sophia Miller ended up having a scratch on her chin

"Louisa, won't you attend your Mother? I am bleeding dear," Sophia said looking at her daughter

"I have been bleeding since years and you know the cause for that. Did anyone attempt to stop the ache I was going through?" Spat Louisa

"You have no right to accuse me, Louisa. You are the sole reason for the things that took place. It's only because of you everything is changed," Sophia spat back

"What more can I expect from someone like you? You always have this special talent of pushing blame on others and you are exceptionally doing it," Louisa yelled

The staff was scared witnessing the heat rising between the mother-daughter duo but no one dared to say a thing.

Flora stepped ahead and tried to calm them

"Louisa, please be cool. Don't take anything to your mind and please stop fighting. You came home after many days and I don't want to see all these stupid stuff," Flora said looking into Louisa's eyes

"Why are you asking me to cool down Aunt Flora? Did I say anything? She started everything and accused me. No-one stopped her. You know she is wrong then why are you asking me to stop this?" Louisa yelled

"They are looking yummy," Sophia said looking at the food, which was served for Louisa. She tore a bite of it and placed it near her lips

"This is my darling daughters choice isn't it?" Sophia said quirking her brows at Louisa

Flora nodded in response

"Then I don't want these things adorning my table. The person who left the place terming this as hell has returned back to the same place and enjoying the delicacies prepared by the staff to whom we are paying the salaries. She has no right on anything," Sophia yelled pushing aside everything placed on the dining table.

The cutlery broke into pieces and food scattered all over the floor. The chocolate sauce spread over the flooring turned the shiny marbles into brown color

Louisa's blood boiled after witnessing what her mother has just done. Her eyes turned red and her heartbeat rose.

Flora rushed towards Louisa to stop her from bursting but she got silenced with just one look from Louisa

"Sophia, you are asking me about my rights. Nevertheless, what rights do you have to stay in this home except for the Miller surname? I am the legal heir of this house but you are nothing except shit," Louisa roared

"I think you are suffering from memory loss darling. I have every right here. I am the wife of Oliver Miller and your Mother. No one has the right to question my rights over here, not even you," Sophia said smirking

"Too much of ego right? You may have forgotten the crimes you have committed but if I spill them before dad, the great Sophia Miller will be on the streets within seconds. I have spared you for dad but you don't deserve that. Get ready to beg on the streets because I am not going to stay silent anymore. Once I spill everything to Dad you will have no option except living on the roads," Louisa roared with anger

Sophia stared at Louisa for some time and started laughing like a maniac

No one understood why she is laughing in such a serious time

"Your Dad Louisa? Do you think your dad will throw me away listening to your words? He will never ever do it," Sophia said clapping her hands

"I know Dad and he won't let a person live in this house who troubled his daughter. He let you stay here because he has no idea about many incidents which conspired here. He won't even think a minute before throwing you away," Louisa said

"My naive daughter," Sophia said pulling Louisa's cheeks and continued, "You think you are soo clever but you have no idea about this cruel world darling. Your Dad will never be able to do that because he knows that his secrets he has been hiding from everyone once I open my mouth," Sophia said laughing hysterically

"Secrets and Dad? Dad keeps no secret without telling me unless it is a threat to me. Do not try to create misunderstandings between Dad and me. I am never going to believe in your senseless talks," Louisa yelled

"I am drunk Louisa, and a drunk person never lies. There are many things you need to know but you will never know. The reality you are seeing around you is a perfectly crafted illusion. You never knew what had really happened and you will never know that in the future. You just believed what you saw which was nothing but a crafted story," Sophia Miller said looking into her daughter's eyes deeply.

Louisa stood still without moving. Every word her mother said rang in her ears.

"Is she speaking the truth? What does she mean by the illusion I am living in? Does Dad really hold some secrets? Am I being played?" Louisa kept thinking

"Speak up darling daughter. Why are you silent now? Start yelling. Silence doesn't suit you," Sophia said smirking

"How can I believe in her words? I can't fall into her trap once again. She never said truth but now as she is drunk maybe this one can be a truth," Louisa's mind wavered with all the thoughts

"Speak up Louisa," Sophia said nudging Louisa's shoulder

"How do you think I will believe in your words? If you want to believe in them show me some proofs," Louisa said in a comparatively blow pitch

"What happened daughter? Are you already scared that the truth is going to break you that your voice was reduced to a whisper now?" Sophia asked pulling her daughters chin up

"What is going on here? Will someone explain to me why the floor is echoing with screams and why is food scattered all over the floor?" Oliver yelled looking at the floor smeared with food items
