"Dad, you saw this right my ice cream got exchanged. Since evening everything is so confusing and I was trapped but everyone said that I started seeing illusions again and the way things took place made me believe that I was really hallucinating," she said hugging him
"Who trapped you Lou and what have you experienced?" Oliver questioned Louisa
"Dad it's" when Louisa was about to answer his query, he stopped her abruptly placing his hand on her mouth
"Don't speak anything now. We will discuss everything one we reach home" Oliver replied
"But why, Dad?" Louisa asked seeing the sudden change in his father's behavior
"I think our every move is being watched Baby, so it's better if we discuss this inside closed doors," Oliver said patting her shoulder
"So you are coming to my house Dad?" Louisa asked
"No Baby, we are going to our home" Oliver replied
"I don't want to visit that place," Louisa said pulling her face away from his hands
"That is not a place Baby; that's your home," he said turning her face towards his
"That was my home in the past Dad, but it's not my home anymore," she replied
"Baby, why are you being like this? Why are you doing this to me? You are my only daughter my sunshine just imagine how much pain I am going through by staying away from you," Oliver said to her
"Dad, you clearly know the reason for this. I can't stand your wife. I am sorry if I had hurt you but I can't stay there," Louisa replied
"But now you possess some threats Louisa Baby, so please listen to Dad's words and come home. I will make sure that you will be alright and no one will enter your rooms premises without your nod," he said in assurance
"You should make sure that your wife won't be poking her nose in my life and if she crosses the line I am not going to stay there," Louisa said
"I promise you that no one will be disturbing my Baby. It's her house and she is going to enjoy her stay there," Oliver said pinching her cheeks
"Okay" Louisa replied cutely
"That's my baby," Oliver replied beaming with happiness
After a few minutes' drive, they reached their mansion. The gates were opened wide and Louisa rolled down the window as soon as the vehicle entered inside the gate. The security saluted them and she looked at the surroundings
Louisa felt so elated to see everything the same even after these many days. The security opened the car door and Oliver went out and extended his hand to Louisa.
She placed her hand in it and walked out. The cool breeze touched Louisa's body and she forgot everything for a moment.
"Dad, the garden looks the same and Oh my goodness you are still taking care of the Eriosyce?" Louisa asked wondered
"Why won't I be taking care of it, when it's my daughter's favorite plant," Oliver said smiling
She ran towards the Eriosyce plant happily. That's her favorite plant a unique globular cactus with a beautiful shape. She planted it with her own hands when she was 12 and used to take care of it until the day she walked out of the house. Many beautiful memories are attached with it
"Baby, let's go inside" Oliver shouted as Louisa is standing at a distance from him
She glanced towards the extended garden and walked towards her dad murmuring "I will meet you all soon"
Both Dad and daughter entered the house, Louisa kept looking at all the sides and noticed the changes. A lot of things have changed from the last time. She saw most of the staff were replaced. Every working member looked at her in surprise. She walked ahead without saying anything.
"Louisa dear, you are home?" An elderly woman asked walking towards them
"Aunt Flora" Louisa ran towards her and engulfed her in a hug
"I missed you so much," Louisa said hugging her tight
"But you have never visited us. I thought you forgot about this old woman," Flora said pushing Louisa a little
"I will never be angry on my Godmother," Louisa said kissing her cheeks
"I missed you a lot," Flora said with tears in her eyes
"Now that I am here please stop crying. I hate to see tears in your eyes. We will have our time together," Louisa replied grinning
"Baby, let's go to your room," Oliver said standing near to them
"Flora, please send the delicacies made by you to her room. She is been missing that for ages," Oliver said ruffling Louisa's hair
"Yes Aunt Flora, please do send me, and don't forget to make the caramel pudding. I love that one," she said throwing her hands in the air showing her excitement.
"Why would I forget my baby's favorite thing? You get freshen up and you will be greeted by your favorite things," Aunt Flora said and took her leave from there
"I missed her Dad," Louisa said leaning closer to him
"That is why I keep asking you to visit your home," he replied walking to the elevator.
She chose not to reply to that question and smirked looking at the interiors, which are transformed according to her mother's taste
They stepped out of the elevator in the 4rth floor and she stopped in her tracks
"Baby, let's go," Oliver said pulling his daughter's hand
"No Dad, I don't want to meet her," Louisa replied sharply
"She is your mother Lou, and she loves you," he said to her
Louisa gave a sarcastic laugh at that
"We will just greet her and go to your room," Oliver requested his daughter and Louisa reluctantly obliged to him
The room's doors opened once Oliver punched the thumb on the security lock.
"Where is Sophia?" Oliver asked the servant present in his wife's close quarters
"Sir, Madam is taking rest as she is suffering from headache and she asked me to allow no one into her room," she replied looking down
"What is the reason for that?" Oliver questioned
"I absolutely have no idea about it, Sir," she replied
"How will she know the reason Dad, ask me I will say that. She must be tired of searching prospective billionaire grooms for her darling daughter or she must have had enjoyed tequila while her daughter was facing hell trapped inside a dark room," Louisa replied in a calm tone subsiding the raging anger inside her
"She loves you, Baby," Oliver said rubbing his temples
"I know that very well," she replied sarcastically
Oliver was about to say something but Louisa started moving.
"If the pain is much unbearable make a call to our family doctor and take care of her," Oliver ordered her before walking towards Louisa
She looked either side but didn't find Louisa when he was about to enter the elevator his mobile flashed with a message. His eyelids bulged looking at what appeared on the screen.
