---- Billie's POV ----
I reached the school at around 3:00. I called Mrs. Macleod to acknowledge her I have arrived.
"Hello, who is this?" Mrs. Macleod asked.
" Umm... This is Emily's father, Billie, I was letting you know I have arrived at the school for the parent-teacher conference, at uh... 3:30 today. Where is your classroom? " I asked as soon as when I walked out of the car and into the office.
"Mr. Armstrong it is the second room by the library, which is by the office. Emily's in here with me," Mrs. Macleod acknowledged me.
"All right, thank you, bye," I said hanging up the phone and walking past the library.
I reached the classroom, I knocked on the door. Then Mrs. Macleod opened the door. She was a middle-aged woman with chestnut colored hair, with blue glasses.
"Hey, Billie!" Emily acknowledged me whenever Mrs. Macleod opened the door.
"Hey, Emily," I answered.
"Here Mr. Armstrong please take a seat," Mrs. Macleod said.
"All right... Where do we start, I would like to say, Emily is a great student. I noticed some notebook was left in her desk yesterday. I wasn't wanting to be intrusive in anyway. I read after school yesterday, to tell she is an amazing writer! It should be a novel; anyway, did you know about her troubled past, Bill- I mean, Mr. Armstrong?" Mrs .Macleod said in utter shock about Emily's writing abilities.
"Uh... Yes, I did," I answered.
"I was just curious. Mr. Armstrong... Er... Billie, may I call you that?" She asked.
"Yes, you may call me Billie, I don't mind", I acknowledged her.
"It's just, I have never had a student with a dad that is multi-million dollar, musician. I'm a huge fan of your music," she said blushing.
"Oh really, to be honest, I was thinking about taking her out of school. She's not liking it," I whispered to her.
"Aww... Man, that sucks. I would understand, it's probably very stressful being a rock star's child. Anyway, here is your notebook," she said handing Emily the notebook.
"Yeah, it is stressful," Emily sighing told her.
"Billie and Emily have a safe drive home," she said as we were going out the door.
"Well, she was nice," I told Emily.
"Yes, Billie she is, " Emily sighed.
"Well, I have a surprise for you... On Friday, Jakob asked if we could attend his band's concert. Everyone's going like Joey, Eighty, Mike, Tré, and me," I said eagerly whenever we pulled out of the school parking lot.
--- Emily's POV ---
Oh, great, it's on Friday, the day of the dance, I thought.
"Yay, I can't wait," I sighed.
"What's wrong, Emily? Jakob has been waiting to meet you since we told him about you," Billie said.
"Oh, it's just nothing," I replied to Billie.
"Well, if I hear you asking if you can go to that dance, I will say no!" Billie acknowledged me pulling up into the driveway.
"Oh, okay," I replied.
--- Billie's POV ---
Man, I wonder what the problem with her is? I thought walking into the front doorway.
"Hey, Billie, how did it go?" Eighty asked while sitting on the couch, me as soon as when I walked door.
"Oh, it went great, Eighty. I'll ya later," I replied to Eighty whenever I walking into Emily's room.
"Hey, kid, you can't wait to meet Jakob? What's wrong?" I said sitting in the bed whenever Emily's face was full of tears.
"Oh, it's just nothing, Billie!" She screamed at me.
"Okay... You know, I will be there for you, " I said beaming.
"Billie, it's about mom," she said whenever I started walking out of the door.
"Mom, what about her?" I asked concerned.
"Well, I miss her, she would have be through this. Some days I wish you never we're my godparent, Billie. I hate whenever people come up to ask me a bunch of personal questions about you and not me. 'Cause you're the only person they care about, NOT Emily f**king Jenkins/Armstrong, I don't care anymore!" Emily replied stressed and crying hard.
"Kid, I know, how it is-" I said she cut me off.
"NO! YOU DON'T BILLIE! It's stressful you'd not understand, because you're not a child going through this! You've not had an abusive stepfather or someone that loved you so much they would give their life for your own and they were only person that cared for you," Emily said breaking down and sobbing.
What she said shocked me to my core, I started having tears to roll down my face.
"Emily, I will give you at least a five f**king days until I get you out of school. I didn't how depressed you were, I'm sorry. You should have told me," I acknowledged Emily.
That night I stayed up in bed until 3:00 o'clock in morning. "Eighty, Eighty, wake up," I said shaking Eighty.
"Billie, it's 3 o'clock in the morning what do you want?" Eighty asked groggy and yawning.
"Emily told me something earlier that made me cry, I personally think we should get her out of school, within the next 3 to 4 days," I acknowledged her then I told her all of the things Emily told me.
"Oh god, Billie. Yeah, we need to before she commits suicide or does something like that Billie!" Eighty said appalled by what I told her.
"I'll go up there Monday morning and withdraw her," I said exhausted closing my eyes.
