Chapter 18 - Chapter Eighteen - Ordinary World

--- Billie's POV ---

I was still disappointed in Emily running away from home. I had her do a sh*tload of things to do including homeschool, which she started within about 1 week that I withdrawn her. The Green Day tour was coming up pretty soon (in about a month) and their were also TV shows I had to play on also.

One day after that two weeks was over, I thought about doing a live stream about introducing Emily to my followers, talk about the tour, and letting anyone ask questions about anything.

"Emily... Can I ask you a question?" I asked while she was sitting at the table, she was eating a turtle brownie.

"Yeah, what is it?" She answered, staring at me with those stunning sea blue eyes.

"Uh... I was thinking about doing a live stream later today, introducing you to all the Green Day fans out there, Emily... You don't mind?" I asked timidly.

"I don't mind, Billie," she replied smiling at me.

"Ah, okay, I'll start it in a minute," I replied.

--- Emily's POV ---

I walked into my bedroom to look at the picture of mom and me, then tears started rolling down my face. C'mon, Emily. You got this, the people in the stream won't be mean or anything, if they are Billie would block them, I told myself.

A minute or two later, Billie walked into the bedroom, "Hello everybody, uh... Today I will be talking about the new Green Day tour and um... Something else..." Billie smiled then motioned me to walk over there.

"Well... This is my daughter, Emily..." Billie continued nervously.

I noticed a bunch of comments pour in, I acknowledged a few accounts were from that school. Some of the comments were negative while the majority were positive.

About 30 minutes after the live stream was over, Billie knocked on my door and then he started observing me on the bed crying,

"Emily, what's wrong?" Billie cooed putting his hand over my shoulder.

Then about 1 or 2 seconds later, I replied, "I miss her, Billie. I don't care if she wasn't my actual mom, Billie. She cared about me so much... The night I ran away, I had a lot of memories of her come back to me like my fifth birthday party, whenever I learned how to ride a bike, and whenever she met Jason," I answered while my lips quiver.

"Emily, Emily... Y'know I can't take away those experiences from you. I mean, I like that me and you understand each other extremely well. You remind me of myself when I was 10 years old. Emily, I know after the tour, you'll have a more stable relationship with everyone," Billie giggled.

About an hour later, Adrienne and me went to the store to go pick groceries.

--- Billie's POV ---

After Emily and Eighty left, I sat on the couch bored out of my mind. I had an idea, I grabbed a beer out of the fridge. Feeling the beer burn down my throat, I need more... More! I thought to myself, grabbing another beer out of the fridge. I remembered grabbing about 2 beer bottles, B-Billie... I th-think you sh-should s-s-stop... B-but it's s-so good... My s-s-sobriety, though, I thought stumbling to the couch. I drank the bottles feeling drunk.

I heard a car door slam, then I heard someone unlocking the door. I stumbled to the door.

"Billie stop!" I heard Emily's voice echo as I came closer to her.

"Billie... You okay?" Mike bellowed.

"Ah... M-Mike... S-s-soft hai-r-r... D-druunnnk..." I burped.

"Billie! You should be ashamed of yourself... Getting this drunk!" Eighty's beautiful voice echoed.

--- Emily's POV ---

I watched as Billie wobbled into my room. Oh come on, Billie! Why do you have to go in my room drunk out of your mind? I thought following Billie into my room.

"M-more, I n-need more, beer!" Billie slurred, whining like a young child.

"No, Billie, you don't. You'll already have a massive hangover as it is," I answered to Billie sternly.

"Emily... Look he's sleepin'. " Mike said pointing at Billie passed out in my bed.

After Mike left, I went to bed.

"Billie, wake up you're in my bed..." I said tugging on his t-shirt.

Billie was sleeping peacefully... Oh man, I'm going have to sleep with Billie, ugh. I mean, EMILY... You've already slept with him; however, not drunk Billie. I thought staring at Billie's sleeping body.

Whenever I laid down in the bed I heard, Billie hollered, "EIGHTY! UGH... MY HEAD..." Billie said about to cry putting glasses his on.

"Oh wait... Where am I?"  Billie said panicking.

"Billie, you're in my room..." I replied.

"Oh w-why, would I be in you're room?" Billie slurred.

"Billie... Stay here... I'll get you some medicine for your head..." I replied.

"Well, o-okay... E-Emily. Ahhh... It hurts!" Billie sighed.

I grabbed him some Tylenol and a bottle of water, walked into the room and I handed it to Billie.

"Thank you so much!" Billie said hugging me.

I feel asleep then about 45 minutes later, I heard someone throwing up in the bathroom... It was Billie on the floor shivering in a ball.

"Oh Billie, are you okay?" I asked concerned about him, I collapsed down next to him.

"Y-y-yeah, whenever I get hangovers I throw up like c-c-crazy... Y'know?" Billie said his lips quivering, looking sickly pale which reminded me of mom in the hospital.

I sat there crying then I felt a hand on my back.

"Emily... Everything's going to be alright, I've had many hangovers, y'know? Don't wah-wah-w-worry about me, okay? Go back and get some sleep," Billie said looking at me with his emerald green eyes which that was the only thing that remained of color on his body.

I feel asleep thinking about Billie on the cold floor, alone and helpless. I didn't get that much sleep because every 45 minutes to an hour, I would hear Billie in there puking his guts out. I had an idea to stay in the bathroom with him to keep him company and get him anything he wanted.
