I woke to the sound of my blaring music from my alarm, which was Waiting by Green Day. I noticed Billie in the kitchen making coffee, acknowledged me.
"Oh god, you scared me! Your breakfast is on the table," Billie said surprised.
I pulled out a chair then Billie sat next to me. "Well, you can't wait to leave this school? I already found an online school for you, it has received great reviews. I'll tell you later," Billie said sipping on his coffee.
I put on my Metallica shirt with blue jeans and Converse then we left. "Billie... Can I tell you something?" I asked.
"Yeah, honey, what is it?" Billie asked paying attention to the road.
"Well... Someone has been bullying me, the girl makes fun of my clothes and stuff," I told Billie timidly.
"Well... Why didn't you tell me before? Don't worry you won't be dealing with it any longer, after today, you wouldn't be seeing her anymore!" Billie smiled.
As soon as when Billie dropped me off, I walked to Mrs. Macleod's class. Whenever I walked into the class, all the kids in the room gasped. Okay, what's going on? I asked myself. I plopped down in my desk and everyone was staring at me.
"Emily... We found out your secret last night," Nick frowned.
I started having a panic attack, then the next I remembered was blacking out.
---- Billie's POV ----
I almost reached home when I gotten the call that Emily fainted. I turned the car around and sped to the school. I felt like I was having a panic attack. I reached the school and rushed into the office where I noticed the nurses' door was cracked open, I noticed Emily sitting on the examination table.
"Hello, uh... I was thinking about checking my daughter, Emily Armstrong, out," the secretary glanced up at me.
Oh dam, not this again, I thought while my heart rate accelerated.
"Okay, Mr. Armstrong, just sign this paper here. Anything else I can do for you?" The secretary beamed.
"Err... I was wondering if I could withdraw her as well?" I asked.
"Yes you may, Mr. Armstrong. Here, I'll get you the papers," she answered eagerly. Then she opened a drawer and handed me the papers, "Here, Mr. Armstrong, just fill out these papers," she said handing me the papers. A moment later, she called the nurse on her phone, then she said a minute later, "Mr. Armstrong, it appears like Emily would be unable to get her belongings because she blacked out, would you be able to get her belongings from her teacher? We can send a student to give them to you, if you don't want to..."
I thought I would get noticed by kids that might be fans or possibly get noticed by a kid that might be a fan... HMM... Which one, Billie, which one? Of course my anxiety got in the way, "Uh... I'll... Uh... Maybe a st- I'll go to her classroom to get her stuff..." I said timidly.
"All right, Billie, here's you a 'Visitor Pass'," she said handing me a white sticker with the word "Visitor" wrote in a maroon color. I rushed down the hallway, and I passed by the classroom where I noticed kids in there, one of them with a Green Day shirt. Oh great, f**king great. I knocked on the door a moment later. "Sally... That's why pronouns are... Oh hello, Billie, here's her stuff..." Mrs. Macleod said smiling.
Kids started staring at me, I started sweating, then she handed Emily's backpack, "Thu-thu-thank you, I withdrew her, by the way..." I said staring at the kid with the Green Day shirt, the kid was staring she was about to faint. Then I walked started walking back into the office, a middle aged man stopped and froze.
"Oh my god, you- your Billie Joe Armstrong! I'm Jack Parsons, the music teacher, your daughter is an amazing flautist, " he said cheerfully.
"Oh uh... Thank you, bye," I sprinted back into the office. I handed the secretary the papers and held Emily in my arms. I opened the car door and place her in the back seat, she was still blacked out. I drove off and checked on her every, what it seemed like 5 minutes.
--- Emily's POV ---
"Emily, Emily, are you okay?" Billie asked shining his phone flashlight in my eyes.
I slowly opened my eyes I noticed he was a bit blurry. "Ye-yeah, I-I-I'm O-o-okay," I told Billie.
"Okay, that's great. Yeah, if your well enough we can go to Jakob's concert. Well, we can, at least, stay backstage. 'Cause it already started," Billie smiled.
I thought, man, I can't miss the dance but I blacked out, earlier; Jakob's concert, though, I can't be two places at once, or can I? I could possibly sneak out the bathroom window at the concert venue, the school is right across the street. It was difficult for me to stand up, then I started hobbling to the kitchen.
Billie noticed me and jumped up off the couch to catch me from falling on the floor, "N-no, I changed my mind... We aren't going, Emily! I'll text them right now, you can barely walk," Billie said worried.
He guided me to the living room and placed me next to him on the couch, then he picked up the phone and said, "Hey Mike, we can't make it. Whenever Emily tried standing up she almost fallen... Alright... I'll talk to you later, bye," Billie sighed.
"Well, honey, Mike said he'll get you some merch for your birthday since it's in two days. Eighty is picking up Chinese food, what do you like?" Billie smiled looking at his phone.
"O-orange chicken... Billie," I told Billie with his face in the phone.
"Well, this might be a shocker but I like orange chicken too. Also dumplings and wontons, those are my favorites," Billie smiled.
He grabbed my phone from the counter and handed it to me, I haven't checked Instagram in a few days, I noticed I gotten messages from Jessica.
Hey, Emily, I'm sorry but the truth had to come out! I told my parents then a rumor started on Amino about me talking to you and you being Billie's daughter. I sat there staring at the text in utter shock.
"What's going on?" Billie asked concerned.
"She did it, Billie. She f**king did it!" I screamed and tears started rolling down my face.
"Wait what? That Jessica girl, told everyone?" Billie asked panicking.
"Yep, she did, Billie she did," I frowned.
"Well I would block her, Emily," Billie said staring at his phone.
"Well... She has been my friend..." I said then Billie interrupted me.
"Friends don't share each other's secrets or spread rumors. She doesn't seem like a friend to me, she seem like a motherf**king back stabber," Billie said sternly looked at me in the eye.
"Yeah, that's kind of true, Billie," I started bawling my eyes out. "I thought I could trust her, Billie, " I continued.
After dinner I passed out, I was thinking about me taking Billie's idea of blocking her.
