As I suggested getting Luke to hire a cat sitter for Clarisse, Len's question caught me off guard. "Would it really be alright to hire someone you don't know to watch over her? Why can't Mr. Luke watch her?"
"Well... It's not really in his job description... But it would be a little interesting to see him do that." I chuckled, amused by the suggestion while running a sticky roller against my shirt before turning towards Len and kneeling down to run it against the hem of his pants leg.
"... What exactly is in his job description then...?" Len asks as I flinched.
Well, I mean... It wasn't meant to be a secret but after all these time, it feels weird to insinuate that I am the son of a wealthy man by telling Len that Luke is my bodyguard. But he did already find out Luke looks after me in some kind of way... But I suppose the closest description should be...
