My Valentine's Away
It's February now, and guess what we are practicing for the upcoming Senior Prom. Umuwi si Daddy galing US minsan lang siya umuwi sa isang taon kaya sinusulit nila na magkakasama kami, sinama nila ako ng mag stay si Daddy sa Isang hotel sa Manila. May practice kami pero nag skip muna ako tutal 1 day lang naman ako aabsent saka saglit lang din si Daddy dito sa Manila. I was in the hotel room with my Family and Today is Valentine's Day. Cringey right?
"Get up and wash up nag aaya mag mall ang Daddy mo" Mom woke me up after they are all okay to go out ako nalang pala and it's just 8 am, gumayak nadin ako agad I took pictures on the mirror inside the bathroom ans sent it to our group chat, I totally forgot that my friends are having practice today but I bet they took they phone at the school pag ganitong practice pwede naman magdala eh. I went to the bath tub and just took a bath after washing up and getting ready my friends are calling my phone I answered.
"Hoy!! Miss ka na namin!" natawa ako agad miss ko din sila, "Miss ko din kayo, anong ginagawa niyo?" Gale took Xiara's phone and showed everyone to me apparently break time nila sa practice I showed them my dress. "Ito ako family date" tinawanan naman nila ako "Wow, nakadress babae ka na ngayon ahh" tuawa din ako sabagay madalas ay jeans, shorts and t shirts lang naman sinusuot ko pero nakita ko kasi tong dress na bigay ng tita ko sayang naman kung hindi ko to maususot eh special naman yung araw ngayon.
"Sayang nakatambak lang sa closet ko, ganda pamandin" Gale suddenly started dancing I did too tawa tuloy kami ng tawa she took the phone and shoved it in front of Riley's face nanlaki tuloy mata ni Riley nananahimik lang siya tapos ginulo siya bigla ni Riley. "Look oh Riley si Elle miss mo na ba?" tahimik lang na tumango si Riley then shoved Gale away "Itong jowa mo ang sungit sungit pag wala ka uwi ka na nga " tinawanan ko lang to, palagi namang masungit yan si Riley sakin lang hindi masyado, when I ended the call I told them to talk later mag start nadin kasi yung practice nila.
"Let's go and eat breakfast" we went to this restaurant near the hotel "You like the food here right?" I said yes to Dad and he said "Your mom likes it here too" I smiled at him he may not be always here but he still loves mom after 10 years being together. After eating we went to the mall to shop since Dad wants to buy us gifts, I'm just looking with them nothing really catches my eye but we went and bought my brother Ivar toys Dad bought me clothes and He bought Mom a Bag, we were having fun all day and I kind of forgot to chat sila Riley. Our last stop was the grocery store I noticed how every girl in the mall is literally holding boquet of flowers. While picking up some juice I took my phone out and texted Riley.
"Mukhang Garden itong mall, lahat may hawak na flowers" he's actually online sabagay it's 6 pm kanina pa nila uwian "Bakit? are there so many people in the mall right now?" I was picking vegetable juice while talking to him I don't know why but I'm smiling, namiss ko din siguro to si Riley pero isang araw ko lang naman siya di nakita. "Yeah ang sakit sa mata" he laughed it off and I proceeded on asking him about his day ganito kami magkuwentuhan kung hindi mo kasi to tatanungin di naman to magsasabi eh. "We just practiced today kaso wala ka naman your missing alot of dance" I laughed kasi tunog nagrereklamo na yung boses niya .
"I'll be there on monday naman eh, hey it's valentines you promised to give me a stuff toy sila Erin at Nathan may anak tayo wala?" Ako naman ang nagrereklamo ngayon He promised me that we'll have this stuff toys and we'll be the parents halos lahat ng tropa namin ganun eh nainggit ako gusto ko kami din meron. "Oo nga pala, sure pagdating mo ibibili kita pero umuwi ka muna" I laughed miss na ba ako nito? "By the way anong ginawa mo today?" Now he's asking kinuwento ko naman sakanya na after nung call nagmall lang kami at shopping hanggang sa byahe makauwi ay magkausap lang kami ni Riley even on eating dinner kausap ko lang siya.
"It's midnight already go on and sleep, uwi ka agad ahh" natatawa ako tunog malungkot talaga siya asarin ko kaya. "Bakit? Miss mo na ba ako?" Ewan ko pero kinakabahan ako sa Irereply niya, what's wrong with me si Riley lang to oh, "Yes, I miss you kaya umuwi ka na agad "Can I say that I'm too shocked to process what he replied hindi ako magpapahalatang nagulat ako kaya tinawanan ko nalang siya "Goodnight Elle"
"Goodnight Riley" I dropped my phone smiling buti tulog na parents ko baka tanungin pa ako ni mama bakit nakangiti ako dito dis oras na ng gabi. I took a screen shot of our convo and sent it to Erin si Gaga naman ay tuwang tuwa. "Wow, may pa ganyan na siya ngayon ahh, sabi na namimiss ka tahimik yan maghapon eh"
"Nagulat nag din ako eh talaga ba?" Erin was laughing at halatang nang aasar. "Eh valentines tapos wala ka ikaw ahh natuwa ka naman na namimiss ka" I laughed it off kahit bestfriend ko to si Erin hindi ako aamin at baka mang asar lang to lalo hindi pa naman sigurado yung nangyayare baka ganun lang talaga si Riley?
"Ito naman wala lang yun close kasi kami"
"Kayo nako, umamin na kayo sa sarili niyo pinapatagal niyo lang yan sayang" I said goodnight to her after that. Talaga bang may gusto si Riley sakin? At bakit natutuwa ako?
