Childhood trauma and resilience
Bivian sat precariously on the edge of the rugged cliff, his feet dangling in the air, with a bottle of whiskey clenched tightly in his hand. Attired in a crumpled white shirt and black pants, his tie was disheveled, and a few buttons were undone, revealing a glimpse of his chest. His hair was tousled, reflecting the turmoil that brewed within. As he gazed out at the vast expanse below, his mind wandered back to the hardships of his childhood, and the overwhelming regret that still lingered. The memories of his mother's struggles, and his own helplessness to protect her from his father's cruelty, continued to haunt him.
After losing his mother, Bivian's life changed dramatically. His father remarried, but Bivian never felt like he had parents again. As a child, he lost interest in playing and participating in activities that once brought him joy.
