Chapter 37 - Hunters Training Academy (Part II)

Ever since the training of Alliyah to become an official hunter began,

Her days were filled with studying and going over with all her lessons.

Each trainees were given 2 weeks for the short course program before taking the licensure exam.

Their licensure exam will be a practical application of all their training within the academy.

In order for an applicant to pass, a 70 percentile is needed for their written exam and a complete pass in their practical exam.

Licensure exams are divided into two parts, written and practical exam.

Currently, Alliyah had to prepare for the coming exam.

Few days may have passed, she garnered such high reputation amongst the applicants specializing on technical support.

Among the specialists of technical support, she was able to match with the intelligence of other top trainees.

Other specialists tend to underestimate and bully technical support specialists for their less impressive roles during battles.

Maki and Lily became even more attached and fond over Alliyah due to their admiration of her remarkable intelligence.

[-In the Hunters Academy-]

While walking around the hall way, Maki and Lily accompanied Alliyah like a shadow.

"I guess both of you will keep following me until the day ends. Am I right?" Alliyah asked the two trainees following behind her.

Lily was wearing her usual long hunter's dress with large eyeglass on her. Though, her breasts seems to be too compressed due to the fitting of her tight dress. Which also showcases the curves of her body.

While Maki was wearing his usual brown khaki pants and maroon slim fit top. He always had goggles on his forehead. For him, this goggles will be useful whenever it is dark. It has a night vision effects.

"Well … we have nothing else to do. And going with you is way better than sitting alone in the library." Lily answered in a shy manner.

"Don't worry we will not bother you. You need a bodyguard anyways! Especially some trainees feeling jealous of your presence. Just in case someone tries to bother you, I am here to protect you." Maki confidently offered his services to Alliyah.

Hoping to impress her.

Unfortunately, Alliyah was not impressed.

"Thank you to both of you and for your kind offer but I think I can handle myself pretty well. Anyways, we have a training for combat." Alliyah informed the two.

Her intent was to politely excuse herself.

But, the two fellow trainees were not letting Alliyah go on her own.

"Then … w-why are you heading to the simulation combat room? Aren't you supposed to head towards the mechanic room? The place where we are expected to train ourselves in assembling weapons and harness our support skills through quick response." Lily stuttered a bit in her explanation.

"I agree with Lily! We also earn points through providing swift and effective technical support. So, why are you heading to the simulation combat room? Are you confused with the direction? This is why you need us!" Maki pointed out to Alliyah.

Indeed, Alliyah's intent was to head towards the simulation combat room and not to the mechanic room. But the two trainees were not aware of it.

So, Alliyah had no choice but to explain herself and make the two trainees realize her intent.

"Look! So far, no one could beat my record in assembling weapons and rendering support. My record is currently the highest record that this academy ever had. Thus, I do not want to waste my time beating my own record if I can manage to harness my survival skills in the battle field. One good way to provide support to other hunters is actually not dying. Enabling ourselves to be a less burden to our teammates. I hope that explains myself." Alliyah elaborated to the two regarding her plan.

Despite the attempts of Alliyah to hold back her speed and accuracy, she was still far ahead than other trainees who specializes in technical support due to her advanced intelligence and quick reflexes.

It made other instructors and veteran hunters to be impressed on her skills.

And instead of making the other two trainees lose interest in accompanying her.

Both Maki and Lily became more impressed and interested over Alliyah upon hearing her plan to harness her own combat skills.

At the sight of the two with their sparkling eyes, Alliyah realized that she would not be able to shake off the two.

"Fine, both of you can accompany me if you want to. But please do not make any unnecessary things inside. I just want to focus in training." Alliyah request from the two other trainees.

Maki and Lily nodded their head in agreement.

Thus, the three of them headed to the simulation combat room.

As soon as they entered,

Group of eyes were thrown unto their direction.

The instructor of the simulation combat room always had to wait until 10 trainees could occupy the simulation room.

While waiting, each trainees were given dummies to practice on as their target.

Currently, they were waiting for one more trainee to complete the roster of 10.

Most of the time, -Brawlers- / -Weapon Specialists- / Marksmen were the occupants of the simulation room.

For the first time in the history of the Hunters' Academy, a technical support specialist was interested to use the simulation room.

Each trainee had designated symbol patch on their wristband. To identify their own specialization.

"Oh, I think you are lost. The mechanic room is on the 3rd floor. This is the simulation combat room." The instructor clarified to Alliyah and her escorts.

"I know. That's why I am here! I want to participate in this training session. Basically, there is no rule which states that there is exclusivity in the usage of the simulation room." Alliyah reiterated to the instructor about the rules and regulations which pertains to the usage of the simulation combat room.

The other trainees were amused at the remark of Alliyah.

Including the instructor … he smiled upon hearing the interest of Alliyah.

A trainee specializing on technical support having an interest to participate in simulation training session was indeed a first time to be heard of in the Hunters Training Academy.

This piqued the interest of the instructor and the other trainees as well.

"I guess … this will be an interesting training session." The instructor uttered in front of everyone.
