Minjun's point of view:
I walked into my room, shoulders slumped. The sight visit was canceled. The workers called in, canceling last minute. I really wanted to go there, wanted to explore Rome, and learn more about their culture.
I laid on the bed, hoping for a dreamless nap. It's not that I don't like dreaming, dreaming of Taehyung, soaking in him. I just wanted to get some sleep, to be more energetic to love Jirae. He was an angel, deserving the best and only the best.
I relaxed myself, sinking into the soft bed, sighing in relief. My breathing leveled, my conscious mind soon shutting out, putting me into a sweet, dreamless sleep. It was relaxing, the rest benefitting my sleep.
Author's point of view:
Mia paced back and forth in her hotel room, Lily looking at her with a worried face. Mia couldn't understand what was happening to Minjun. Others could think that Minjun was overthinking this whole thing but, not Mia. Why? Just cause anything and everything is possible.
She was brilliant, her IQ being 135. But then, this was not a matter of logic and rational thinking. Something mysterious was happening, sending Minjun's mind in a trance, taking him to Jirae every damn time.
"Babe, do you happen to know anyone by the name Dara?" Lisa questioned, looking at Lily. "Hmm...I think so," Lily answered, getting out of the bed, reaching for one of the history books from the bed table.
She handed the book to Mia, saying, "I'm positive there's information about a warrior named Dara. He took part in a war against Babylonians, it seems. It is in the 39th chapter." Lily finished, Mia hurrying to the 39th chapter.
Mia started reading, finishing a whole chapter in a span of five minutes, her constant reading helping her. The book indeed said some things about the warrior, like how he could handle pain and the scar on his shoulder.
Mia was shocked, the person from Minjun's dream was indeed a real person, a warrior from the 5th century if we're being more accurate. She knew something was happening, somewhat having an idea of the situation but, her mind was left confused from the newfound information.
"Thanks, love," She muttered, giving Lily a small peck on the lips before Lily could even question anything. Mia had to read the whole book to get some more information on what was happening to Minjun, but her want to reveal the information she knew to Minjun stopped her.
She got out, reaching Minjun's hotel room as soon as possible. They both had different rooms on different floors, the hotel management squeezing them in despite the rooms being full. She quickly climbed the stairs, her claustrophobia being a real pain in the ass.
She finally reached Minjun's room, knocking on the door, waiting for the young man to come out. She knocked again, a little louder assuming that Minjun was asleep. The book in her hand was heavy, making her sigh internally at the thought of reading it fully. She was a fiction person, anyway.
Minjun opened the door, muttering profanities under his breath. As soon as Minjun opened the door, Mia rushed inside, placing the book on the table, her wrists hurting.
"Minjun, I found something!" Was the first words she said, her words alarming Minjun, waking him up from the theta state. "The Dara you told me about, he is a warrior. He also has a scar on his shoulder. That's what the book says!" She exclaimed, Minjun turning his attention towards the book.
"Is it yours?" Minjun questioned, pointing at the rather large book. It was titled, 'A glimpse into the history of ancient Rome.' "No, it's Lily's, why?" Mia questioned back after giving away the answer, turning her head towards the book.
"Tell her I'm borrowing it," Minjun answered, "Just please ask her if she knows anything about Jirae..." He finished, taking the book in his veiny milk like smooth hands, examining it.
"Sure thing, Jun-ah. I'll be leaving now." Mia smiled, Minjun returning it before muttering, "Thank you for doing this..." Making her smile wider, clearly happy to help, leaving the room.
Minjun closed the door after she left, sitting on the loveseat, starting to read the book already. He was anxious, the reason unknown as he flipped the pages of the book one by one hoping to find something about Jirae.
Minjun was so immersed in the book, forgetting that it was dinner time already. He sighed, sleepy from reading so much. Can't blame him tho, his mind getting tired from the intake of information. His stomach rumbled, making him close the book, opening the door to get out of his room.
He got to the dining room of the hotel, getting the food he desired, finishing it at a slow pace. 'Should start working out, Jun.' He thought, sighing. He quickly got to his room by the elevator, wanting nothing more than sleep or well, Minjun.
He took a shower, finishing his night routines before going to bed, grinning as he let himself taste the sweet feeling of sleep, Jirae's sweeter anyway, he thought.
He woke up, the bright shining light letting him guess that it was indeed Rome he was in. He never sleeps with his windows open anyway. He couldn't feel his left hand, it being numb as Jirae had fallen asleep on the hard muscle.
He admired Jirae's face, so so innocent, so baby-like and pure, the sorrow the prostitute had within him invisible, making Minjun feel giddy as his heart swelled, his soul wanting nothing more but, Jirae.
Jirae slowly opened his eyes, his eyes widening, realizing where he was. He looked at Minjun, locking eyes with the man who was smiling lovingly at him. The emotion his eyes held, Jirae could name it within the blink of an eye.
It was oh so beautiful, oh so familiar, Jirae's heartbeat raising, his eyes fluttering close in shyness, a baby pink dusting his cheeks, butterflies erupting from the pit of his stomach because of Minjun's gaze.
'Oh, no! This couldn't be happening!' His soul sobbed, his eyes shutting themselves harder, harsher, trying to push in the tear like tears that sure would tear Minjun's heart. 'I don't want him to die for loving me yet, I still want him all for myself... It's almost greedy.' He thought, sighing.
"I have to go, Minjun." He said, making the other man widen his eyes for the quarter of a second. "You didn't answer me yet," Minjun demanded, his brows furrowing letting the beauty sigh.
Jirae got up, looking at Minjun, the uneasiness evident in his face. Jirae didn't want to tell his truth to Minjun, afraid of the thought of the foreign man leaving him before he even became a part of Jirae's life, of Jirae.
Jirae was in a dilemma, wanting Minjun more than anything yet, wanting nothing to do with Minjun. He wanted Minjun to want him yet, he couldn't bring himself to start something with Minjun. But, he had already started it... He feared, feared for Minjun life. He valued Minjn's life more than his own, his feelings.
"Come by my place by the evening, I'll tell you when you get there," Jirae answered, his deep voice wavering ever so slightly. "But, I don't know where you live!" Minjun exclaimed, getting up, taking Jirae's slender hands in his own harder ones.
Jirae leaned closer, his breath embracing Minjun's in an oh, so intimate way, both men wanting nothing more than each other. They were drawn closer to each other, every second crucial in this relationship, it being thinner than ice, death holding the power to break it any second.
"If you want to know about it that much, then you'd find where I live," Jirae murmured, his lips almost touching Minjun's burning skin, sending chills up the buffer man's body. They wanted each other so much, the thick air confirming it.
Jirae slowly tilted his head, leaning in further, placing a soft lingering peck on the other man's cheek, letting Minjun's cheeks bloom a soft pink. "I'll be expecting you..." Jirae whispered, his voice smooth, dripping with such sweetness it made Minjun's heart race.
With that Jirae left, ready to leave Minjun after one last night.
But, it doesn't take much for one night to turn into many, does it?
