Anger boiled my blood and I felt myself open the door. I saw the woman naked and the so-called Bryant buttoning up his shirt. I took a step closer to him, looking around for something I could use to knock his brain back into proper position or something to knock a little wisdom into him but he took a step forward and beat me to it,
"I'm sorry I can't do this", he said before passing by me and swiftly walking out. Rolling my eyes, I looked at the redhead whose back was facing me and a mischievious grin lined my lips.
Looking around once again, I spotted a vase of flowers and water. My grin instantly widened and i felt like an avenger in thaï moment.
Grabbing the vase, I walked over and dumped it all over her. I saw the shock register on her face as she stared stunned at the air, or in this case the invisible me. A laugh bubbled out of my lips when the confusion finally registered on her face. She was most probably wondering how a vase from the other side of the bed could suddenly dump its contents on her.
Serves you right missy. I choked out a laugh before heading towards the door and also walking out. My day was already running out and I didn't know office and when I would get the opportunity to come back here again.
So I headed towards my first contact place, tge lakehouse. I just found out I can also walk through walls when I was leaving the club. I saw trying to detach chewed gum from the wall when half of my hand disappeared through the wall. As soon as I entered through the wall found her with another woman, young and similar in looks as well. The new woman was bitterly complaining.
"He is a brute, a jerk and a devil all rolled into one person. He is so rude, makes me work all day and then he shouts at me any opportunity he gets. I hate Blaze Lockheart"
"Look Amerylla, I'm having problems of my own at this point but all I can say is hang in there. I'm not exactly having it all pancakes and syrup with Bryant either."
Amerylla huffed and pouted, "I wish Shayda was still here. I miss her".
Shayda?. That's my name. But how does she know me?. Is she my friend?
"Come here Amy, our sister is in heaven now. Shayda is now an angel among angels", Jayda replied whiles hugging Amy.
Then it finally dawned that they're my sisters. But wait... I'm not in heaven. I wanted to laugh at their assumption but I couldn't help but walk over to them and wrap my hands around them both, so we were all hugging, except they couldn't see me.
I spent the rest of my day gathering all of "the" Bryant's clothes and dumping them in the fridge. Then I smeared all his shirts with red lipstick. I made a mental note to myself that I would visit this so called Blaze the next time I come on Afterlife Holiday. I also left a note for both my sisters and Bryant.
Hopefully, he learns to love and treat my sister like she deserves.
They both deserved that and more. I pulled back to stare at the clock on the wall. It was approximately 5, just then I felt something vibrate in my pocket. Frowning slightly, I put my hand inside my jeans and pulled out the vibrating object.
It was my AID.
The black sticker which was initially on it was now red and I frowned whilst staring back at it, suspecting that my time here was almost up. I made one last attempt at taking a memerobilia with me and immediately grabbed a wrist watch nearby on the couch, glancing at the time before I shoved it into my pocket, just as my sisters broke their hug. Just then everything turned bright white and blurry so I closed my eyes shut. When I opened them again, I was staring at a logo with Afterlife icecream embossed on it. After-icecream, as it is also called is the second biggest ice cream shop in the afterlife after Icecream Feverr.
Guess I'm back now. I pulled the watch out and to my amazement, it was still working. If I left there around 5 and its now 5:00:30, then it takes approximately 30 seconds to travel through both worlds, I concluded.
I saw someone running towards me from a distance and I smiled, recognizing his face, Mat.
He quickly engulfed me in a tight hug when he got closer and kissed my cheeks.
"I've missed you so much, it felt like a thousand years". He kissed my forehead, then my nose. I laughed shortly while pecking his soft lips.
"Okay don't exaggerate", I whispered.
He smiled.
"So how was your first time going on a holiday?"
"it was so amazing. I found out I have two beautiful amazing sisters. They're called Jayda and Amerylla. Amerylla looks more like me though", I giggled and he smiled happily.
"I'm glad you met your family"
"Yeah well, I still don't know about my parents", I said sadly
"Yeah don't worry I'm sure it'll all fall into place soon"
I nodded and smiled.
"By the way, how many nights was I gone?", I asked suddenly, making him frown.
"Uhm, five?"
I nodded again, my lips forming into a straight line as I thought.
If five days in the Afterlife was one day there, then time here runs 5x faster than it runs there. Therefore, I checked the time, 5: 20, then it was approximately 6: 56 : 5 seconds.
I suddenly jumped, stunning Mat and kissing him full on the lips briefly.
"I did it!. I did it!"
"did what?", he asked in confusion.
"I finally found a way to calculate time here!", I shouted happily.
He turned doubtful eyes to mine as I explained the concept to him.
He smiled proudly, "You're a genius !"
Mat picked me up and circled us around happily
"I love you"
