Quentin opened his eyes as he heard this notification. He looked around himself and saw that he was translucent and that he was in a black and white room that seemed to be both colors at once, creating a very confusing effect.

Although He was happy that he fused with a system like he wanted to the moments before his death, He didn't like the fact that the price he had to pay for it was his life. But to know what happened, you need to go back to the starting of the ending.

Quentin Garcia, 20 years old, Hispanic, was sitting patiently on the airplane seat, seatbelt on, enjoying the view and waiting for the plane to get to the right height to jump off.

He had his parachute on, helmet on, goggles on and just about any protection device on, getting ready for his first skydiving experience.

His family strongly encouraged him to try it, which he was pleasantly surprised about because his family never really supported him doing dangerous sports or just about anything.

Experiencing skydiving had always been a goal of his, as the idea of flying through the sky had always been his dream.

At this moment, the pilot had interrupted Quentin's thoughts, signalling him that it was time to jump. Quentin took off his seatbelt and stood up, getting ready to jump, but inevitably began thinking about what could go wrong.

But at that moment, it was too late to think or regret, as his body jumped before he could hesitate. And it was worth it. There were too many things to describe.

The fear- that was a big one, but the fear was left behind as the wind breezed- or rather cut past his figure, and soon it was time to open his parachute. He stretched out his limbs, slowing himself down bit by bit as he looked at his watch to see how many seconds he had before he had to open his parachute. 30 seconds. That was enough time to dive some more.

Quentin immediately straightened himself up, not wanting to waste anymore time, diving down and gaining speed. The timer was at 15 seconds.

'I should start to slow down now' he thought, as the seconds ticked by. He then began to spread his limbs again as he got prepared to pull the string to open his parachute.

It was time. He pulled his string quickly. At this moment, everything went wrong. The string tore and the wind ripped out the now useless string out his hands.

'Don't panic, there is a emergency string at the ready.' he thought to himself as he reached for his emergency string on his parachute backpack.

When Quentin grasped at the string, he did not delay at all and pulled the string, but the string was jammed! Damn!

Quentin began to pull again, over and over, as he saw the ground enlarge by the second and his speed pick up although he had his limbs stretched out.

Quentin immediately thought about his family, his ex. He never knew why his ex broke up with him. What was her purpose in becoming his girlfriend if she was going to leave?

He knew that there was a reason she left, but what was the reason? He was romantic enough, he brought her to dates, and although he wasn't as rich as he hoped he would be, he still made a good living, so it couldn't be about money.

And she did not get in another relationship after they broke up or cheat on him, so his last hope was broken. Did she just not like him anymore?

But at this point, he can only think about it. And on the topic about loved ones he thought about one of his greatest regrets- his mother died while giving birth to him, so Quentin grew up in a home with 3 other children as the youngest where everybody secretly despised him although they would never admit it.

Their father, Jackson Garcia, was the only person who even slightly cared about him, and he had a heart attack due to a stroke and died when he was 46 and Quentin was 16, and that alienated him even more from his family.

When Quentin attended the funeral, it was stated in the will that his parents left him a bigger sum of money in the inheritance than the rest of his siblings for unknown reasons and that was the last straw for them.

His siblings snapped at him, coming to Quentin as a group, saying 'You don't deserve your share of the inheritance!' and that ' You should have died instead of mom!' and Quentin couldn't blame them.

It was a very sober day and that was when he finally saw the true faces and heard the true feelings of his family. Fast forward three years and Quentin had used most of his inheritance to go to collage and buy a home and try to invest.

Until one day, on the anniversary of their parent's wedding, they called Quentin and tried to reconnect. Of course he agreed to reconnect and soon their relationship was starting to heal. Fast forward another year, it was the start of summer vacation and Quentin was given a ticket to go skydiving by his bud Damien, and went to the skydiving resort and sat down on the plane and waited patiently and it looped back to here.

Quentin took off his helmet mid-air. it was fine. If he was going to die, it was better to die feeling the wind in his hair rather than have his head bashed in by the helmet that was meant to protect him.

Quentin looked at the ground through the goggles and saw it slowly yet unbelievably quickly get closer and closer. 'I hope that I die without feeling pain and that I can tell the emotions or affections of people around me on my next life! Also, can I get a OP system as well? Wait-- ' Quentin thought as his head was a centimeter away from touching the ground! Quentin at this moment was listing off everything he wanted his next life to include: 'I also want to be ric-"

BAM!
