(Minutes before they left the store.
"We would like to buy these."
Rai said to the man.
"Ho... In the history of the shop. There are only five purchases of everything from armor to weapons. And adding you makes it ten even though you did not buy any weapons. Why is that?"
"Because we already have weapons."
"Really…"
"Well. For me. I would buy this robe, magic gloves, pants, and boots."
"I'll be buying this breastplate, bronze braces, and greaves."
Rei said.
"This leather vest, bracers, leather pants, and gloves."
Niel spoke
"This cloak, leather vest, and pants."
Laurence added.
"This full plate."
Asser finishes.
"Oh! What a generous buyers! Very well. Calculating those! It'll be exactly three thousand gold coins! Many people wanted those since those had good defense and additional effects. Since you bought it all. Very well. Let's finish the deal. Thank gods for such customers."
"Gods?"
Rai asked as they walked.
"Oh. What? Didn't your parents told you about the glory of the gods?"
"Oh… gods…"
"I want to ask. You all seem nobles. Are you trying to become adventurers?"
"Adventurers?"
"Yeah. Those who give their lives to slay monsters and discover hidden treasures or unearth valuable artifacts."
"Well. Can you tell us more about adventurers?"
"I'm no adventurer so I am sorry that I may not be able to tell you."
"I see. Then, we better just go over there, right?"
"Of course. That may be a good thing, see for yourselves."
"Can you tell us the location of it?"
"The adventurers' guild. It's a few blocks away. I am not good with directions. I could sell you a map of the city then."
"Well. We'll buy it then."
As they returned back to the previous section. Many people are in awe of their equipment. Most of them had their jaws dropped and all of them are jealous.
"Well. May I take the payment and so you could start your careers as adventurers."
"Oh, sure. I'll pay guys. Then. We'll be changing first."
"Yes. Thank you pleasure doing business. Sorry that I did not mention my name as you may have known it already. But I am Siegfried.
"Rai. Nice doing business too."
As they left for a room directed by Siegfried.
They left the room and proceeds to read the map for directions.
"So. It's not that far away. That guy just wanted a few more money, he acted as though he did not know. But whatever."
"Haha! He outsmarted you, big bro."
"No, I don't care about money after all."
"Yeah, you're right. We don't need to care about money as we have way too much."
They head out with many people looking at them with their beautiful and powerful equipment.
A few minutes later. They arrived at the said guild which is a three-story building.
"Let's enter."
Rai opened the door and comes on their view are many armed people talking to each other, doing business with clients, or taking quests.
"This is not in the game. If it is. These people have to be all players. But they clearly are not."
They approached a receptionist and she greeted.
"Welcome! How may I help you sirs?"
"Uh. We wanted to be adventurers."
"Oh. Then. You must register over there."
"There? Okay."
They approached another counter and asked the woman there about registering.
"We would like to become adventurers."
"Oh. I thought you're already one because of those equipment of yours."
Whispers started to make them the subject.
"Hey aren't those at the exclusive section on Siegfried's shop?"
"Yeah. They must be rich kids."
"Then. Just register us please."
"Y, yes. Right away. May I have your IDs?"
"Sure."
Rai gave his ID and the woman began inspecting it.
"You're cleared to become adventurers. You just have to fill out this paper. Since you don't have any recommendation letter. You'll automatically be placed at Alpha rank."
"Wait. Are there no aptitude test or anything?"
"Sadly no. Please properly climb the rank through completing quests."
"May I ask about ranks then?"
"Well. There are seven ranks. Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, Zeta, and lastly, and highest. Omega. Which only four party in the whole kingdom is currently in it."
"Really?"
"Please fill out the paper so you may proceed on becoming an adventurer. All of you do sirs, please give me your IDs."
They gave the IDs, fill out the document only asking about certain things like identity, hometown, and stuff. They also have to properly explain about their places of origin to the woman since it might cause something undesirable for them.
Finally, after those. They got their adventurer cards. It will be updated whenever the complete quests here or in any other adventurers' guild.
"So? How will we take quests?"
"Well. You could choose there."
"Um… Can you just give us the hardest quest for our rank?"
"Why don't you sir choose over there? It might be better if you are the one to choose your quest."
"Sorry. We'll do so then."
They moved at the board looking at tens of quests written in a language they do not understand.
"In all of my studies. This kind of writing never showed up. This has to be an entirely different one which does not exist on earth."
Rai told with a confused face.
"Right, big bro."
"Let's just grab one then!"
As Asser Laurence immediately grabbed one.
"He–!"
Rei halted his speech.
"Fine. Let's try it out. Give me."
Rai said.
He puts down the pamphlet and asked the woman at a counter.
"Could we accept this quest?"
"Oh. May I see your cards first?"
Rai gave out his card and the woman look on it.
"Oh. Are you all alphas?"
"Yes."
"It seems you registered just today. This is the most difficult for alpha ranks for now but you could actually accept this."
"I know it might be foolish. But can you tell us the content of it?"
"Well... Y, you just have to kill a goblin settlement. Those goblins are attacking and looting carriages at a specific road whenever something unfortunate rides there. Those goblins must be more or less than sixty. This might be the hardest for alpha ranks so please, I am warning you."
"We accept. May we know where that road is?"
"Well. Not much is riding in that place. But it is the nearest to the northern cities so some people gamble their lives for shorter travel. Do you sir have a map? I could mark it for you in case you do not know where it is."
"We only have a map of the city."
"Then I could sell this map for one silver, and that place is right here."
As she highlighted it with ink.
"Sure. I'll buy it then."
"Thank you. Please stay safe."
"..."
They left the building. But then. As they stepped out.
[Quest: Kill the Goblin settlement.
Goblins have been terrorizing a road. Killing and looting the unfortunate ones. Kill their whole settlement to stop this.

"What the! Big bro!"
"I know. Everyone could see it, right?"
"Yeah. A quest!?"
Asser exclaimed.
"Let's just go with it then. This world has to a LitRPG."
Niel told them.
"Right. It sure is."
Laurence replied.
"Fine. Let's just do it."
Rai said.
